I guess people find it funny because of the parallel between his criticism of God with Haruhi's annoying personality.

Anything with Carlin in it automatically gains my utter disdain, but I can see how and why members find it hilarious.

Coming to this a little late, but my Top Four:

-Azumanga Daioh/Monty Python: While the continuity is all over the place with swapping costumes and the like, this is still a well-directed clip with action complementing the audio and making it seem like an original recording.

-Evangelion/Star Wars: going back to my post in this episode's original critique thread, I was impressed with how the anime here, w3ith the situation of the speakers and the addition of a third character, completely alters the nature of the scene - a very striking example of how anime adjusts, enhances and refreshes the audio.

-Lucky Star/Moskau: a lively tonic to raise your spirits.

-Pokemon/On a Boat: Another ingenious juxtaposition of two completely separate ideas that you wouldn't expect to work well together, but strangely do...

Honourable Mention to Lily CAT/Monoxide: anime is truly a diverse medium, isn't it?
