Bonkondahed , Haar, and myself all worked together on a video for the 2015 AMV Hell Clip Compilation Contest that we called AMVRIP. That being said, Haar has now left this commmunity and Bonkondahed and I have decided that we would like to put out a sequel. This sequel IS NOT STRICTLY COMEDY. It will contain clips that we find fitting or cool, as well as ones that are funny. We have been working on this for the past 4 months or so, and so far have come up with some pretty decent clips for this. As many of you may know, though, it's pretty easy to run dry on content when only a couple people are contributing to the project. As such, I am reaching out to the AMV Hell community. If anyone would like to submit a clip, we would be happy to evaluate it and possibly put it in the video. Instructions for this will be below.

As for a release date of AMVRIP 2, there is none set, but we are hoping to get the video out somewhere in the summer. When it IS finally released, we sincerely hope you enjoy it.

Submission Guidelines:

- To submit a clip or ask a question, simply email me at itschickenscratch@gmail.com with either a Dropbox or Google Drive link, as well as the name of the clip and the name of the source audio and source video. Please also include the name that you would like to be credited as.
- Clips must be primarily Eastern animation (anime etc.)
- No porn/hentai clips with be accepted.
- Cursing, cussing, swearing, whatever you call it, is fine. Don't worry about it.
- Rendered clips must be submitted in 720p resolution and in the H.264 MP4 file format.
- AGAIN THIS DOES NOT NEED TO BE STRICTLY COMEDY, though comedy is good and will be accepted, feel free to submit whatever clips you want.
- Any questions can be posted either in this thread or can be emailed to me at the above address.

I have a couple sadder ideas I might be willing to contribute, although I have a feeling there's gonna be too many non-humor submissions coming from Hellspawn editors.

We don't mind at all if many, if not most of the submissions are second-hand ones that don't fit with Hellspawn. If they're acceptable it would be nice to get them out there in a compilation that in the end I hope we can all be proud of. That being said, it would also be great for some contributions to be original ones made for AMVRIP instead of Hellspawn. I don't mean to make a competition between the two. They are completely different entities and we are not trying to outshine them.

Just a query. How strict are you being on clips being anime?
I've had a couple of ideas that were gonna be with western cartoons, but if it's not gonna be accepted, i won't bother with them

It will be up to the discretion of Bonkondahed and I as to whether or not it will be fitting for the compilation. We want to try not to use western as much as possible, but feel free to send in some clips. Just as a warning though, they are less likely to be chosen than eastern animation.

So far we have a little over 5 minutes of content (clips only with no credits or intro) and you seem to be the only one who has submitted anything to the project aside from Bonkondahed and myself. If it comes down to it, we are okay with releasing the video with only a few outside submissions, seeing as we can't do much about that. I am confident in what we have already to think that it will do well.
