Lower quality for a video site that supports HD videos now? I assume the other clips were affected like that because I noticed my Soul Eater/Down video was lower quality too. Me no like to have my videos worse then they already are.

also im curious why the clips looked a bit small as in had black borders on all four sides? from what i can gather, you were using sony vegas? you could zoom crop to the specified dimensions needed for each clip too by clicking on the far right of the full clip the little symbol that is a screen or something, not the X, and manipulate the window dimensions like that.

also, as a bit of help, i have a specified render-er in my directory to make high quality videos... or near, high quality:

Render quality: best
frame size: custom :you do what ever size you want
allow the source to adjust to frame size
Profile: main
frame rate: 29.970 ntsc or 24
field order: None (progressive scan)
num of reference frames: 2
use deblocking filter
variable bit rate
max: 1,152,000
aver: 768,000
two-pass

(it should be a bit lower than 2 g like what you originally said before... but i could be wrong on that... i mean i played around on those funtions till i got my desired results... and it made 700mb on a 4 min vid to 100mb)

:D I never finished polishing the joke so thats why I figured it would be rejected. Never even tried to submit that one. Actoually half of the ones I have in I never even bothered submitting because I can tell when most of my videos are not worth AMV Hell's time. Also I think it shows that were not getting better but the rejections are getting stricter. (Worse) I would say, if the video was fixed, a good 3/4ths of this video can easily compete with AMV hell.

I know how to make high quality videos it's just they take up a lot of space and take forever to upload. Everyone wanted to see this video so I thought I'd just make lower quality and put it on youtube, however youtube refused to accept it so I just put it up on megaupload and hoped it would satisfy people until tomorrow when I re render it and high quality and upload it again. I just kept all the clips the way they came. I figured no one would care about black outlines.

But thats not really much of a problem. Things slip through the credits all the time and thats to be expected. The video quality is not something that can be overlooked especially when this video is generally good to begin with.

The bad quality clips cant really be done anything too, i would have thought seeing these clips were submitted to AMV hell or somewhere they would have some decency to their quality. but for other clips namely somewhat i know i did, the quality went down a little to hardly visible at time due to motion that had poor changing rate responses or some sort of voodoo like that... plus i just wanted to help out a bit to see if something that i did might help to lower the size of the file upon first rendering...

Although, I will only mention ones that I think had potential to be accepted.
And the ones that while may be good, were probably not excepted for the following reasons I will explain.

[This was well made. But I think this scene in Cowboy Bebop has just been used a bit to much in the Hell/Minis.]

I'll give my review of Paradise 3.
Although, I will only mention ones that I think had potential to be accepted.
And the ones that while may be good, were probably not excepted for the following reasons I will explain.

Yeah I made the parody intro, since both Rurouni Kenshin and Firefly were canceled. So really the joke is VERY niche, you'd have to be a fan of both firefly and rurouni kenshin. Plus I didnt think of anything witty. Although, there is a nice easter egg in the clip on the computer screen. You might see a website you recognize. Also my voice is complete and utter crap.

Suggestion for Paradise #4

How about a release to the select few people who work on it so they can help iron out the small things like wrong credits and potential video issues before the final version is published and released to everyone?

Ex. I noticed one of my clips dragged on to long and I would have liked to remove some text from the right of project dynamite at the beginning of it playing but those are clearly things that are too late to edit out now. I wouldn't even want to get back in and do THAT much extra work after its finished.

(This is one of the many other things I would be doing if I did that co-directing) :D

That first DBZ Clip with Gurren Lagann audio is really underrated. It fits oh so very well.

The one from Bardocks movie was great as well, though I can't help but think I've seen it elsewhere, probably could have been shortened.

Gurren Lagann mega transformation to digivolve theme? Great, GREAT idea. But I just think the way it was edited was very poor. I'd love to see someone go back with this idea with the warp digivolve voice over.

Sexy thing + Baccano, what is wrong is that this was delightful and should have been given a chance. Truly delightful, probably could've used a few more different clips but fantastic lip syncing.

Useless video info
The one used in Paradise 3 was version 1 of that clip. The one I sent into AMV Hell had the audio sync fixed at the beginning. The second version didn't work for Matt's editor or something so I sent in the first one instead. It was also the first AMV I had ever made, just throwing that out there. (Also was made with Windows Movie Maker :p )

Rejected due to confusion over what was suppose to be funny in the clip. I said that already though.

I do when its funny and easy. And this has been certainly funny and very easy.

Poor insults by kids = me no likie how dumb. So I attack and laugh at them when they try and make a failed comeback. The laughing and or gloating is why I am so hated not so much because of what I have to say its how I say it. It is also because half of the people that have problems with me are idiots.

I really want someone like N.P.C.C. to fight with me just to get an argument that is actually logical and witty. Instead of flat lined retarded arguments like how "dumb I am" or something childish like that. I want some competence and humor in there.

Take some time to read back a few pages when this last "bitch-a-thon" started and if you can understand both sides on a neutral basis you will find it is quite a funny little argument. I get enough arguing that goes no where on a little hell hole called "gamefaqs.com." One of the main reasons i like coming here is due to everyone for the most part being nice to each other. You can still easily compress it in ZarxGUI and I promise you won't even notice any quality loss. Just load the 700mb file you have now into there, compress, and the you're done.

It's all about uploading - the whole 'scrapped off the client' is why it's dead I think.

Torrents aren't like MU or MF - they require the uploader to be there all the time, or at least until others have gotten 100% and are willing to seed it.

I think he means to break it into small bits then zip them all together. Google "Zip large files" and I am sure it will come up with something.

The same thing is used with some torrents like how you can find a fully functional game like Left 4 Dead 2 in a zip that is only about a gig or two large compared to how large it is on a disk. (About 4-6 gigs or more) I bet you could get this video down to like the 30mb's or so.

I guess only three people including myself...much less then I first thought. But hey I already have two (almost) 30 second clips ready. They bad, they really bad, but I am not getting rid of anything I make from now on. :D

1. First one's joke was the lyrics and what happened in the anime.

2. Second one was that the phrase "Hallelujah" is often used to signify something holy or of great importance. In this case it was her...activation switch that had Hallelujah being sung to it.

I hate all my clips I submitted thats why they are here. I submit videos I don't like that I make to AMV Hell and ones I hate get sent to Paradise 3. I just use these videos as tests so when I make quality videos they can be used in AMV Hell 6 or other projects I have been working on. (Not Project Dynamite)

I did include one of my "quality" videos from Bludgning Angel Dokuro Chan that should be in the upcoming AMV Hell minis. It was accepted recently so look out for it to see what I can really do. Hopefully Zarxrax clips it like I asked or else it will drag on too long.
