I just finished watching Shigurui. It is disturbingly realistic in its brutality to the point of being repulsive, but on the other hand there?s a sick, twisted beauty to all the voilence. A great anime about the darker side of the samurai. Oh, if you thought Higurashi was too graphic don't even come close to this one.

Opinions vary. Some say it's a inferior clone of Berserk. Haven't seen it though.

All I will tell you is that it is a horror anime so if you are not a fan of "Saw" like movies then don't watch it.
There are also currently three seasons plus a small ova and at least two live action movies coming out (hope they don't ruin the original show).
As for me, I am watching about 20 different anime simultaneously (take it from me don't do this. I tend to get confused what I was watching).

Yea its got some horror in it but when you first watch it you&#39;ll think that this show seems cute, then you start watching because of the mystery then once you&#39;ve watched a few you&#39;re either addicted or scared. i have seen zombie loan and it's not to bad but i didn't think it was anything special and there are only a few episodes
