Yeah, I've read some of the manga. It is a HELL of a lot better than the anime. I have nothing against the manga really, it's the anime.

Recently finished The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, R.O.D., and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. Of those three titles I enjoyed TGWLTT the most. I thought it was surprising, original, down-to-earth, and very likable.

I'm also in the middle of GTO. Pretty funny, if somewhat... *ahem* ...questionable in places.

i gave up on naruto and bleach because the episode-by-episode plot advancement slowed down horribly, that's one of my only turn-offs for them.

one piece is going slightly faster, but maybe that's because the opening credits are very long >.>

either way, i think i'm still with one piece because i love love love the manga, and i'm geniunely curious to see how certain characters and attacks get animated XD

Well, after trawling through the TV series until I went crosseyed in order to assemble "The Casing's Gleam", if I see another frame of Golgo 13 it'll be too soon! :p So, I'm returning to pleasure-viewing and going back to Last Exile, which I'm about halfway through.

I would be watching Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino as I'm a positive GSG fanatic, but frustratingly I'm going to have to wait months for a PAL release - Funimation won't even allow streams on their website anymore. :(

1) the plot - i found the first story good, but other are boring
2) the characters - they talk a lot about each other, but i just don't feel sorry/happy/etc for them
3) needz moar violence >=D

dunno how to explain, but it just doesn't seem like the right kind of anime for me

it's not supposed to be about the violence, it's a psychological thriller not action
anyway I loved Higurashi but I'm drawn into that sort of stuff

yes, i love psychological stuff too, but it just doesn't make the right effect for me, i guess the plot is just too weak (by far)
