It refers to mio's fingers something about getting calouses from playing guitar if i remember correctly. Its from one of the first couple episodes in season 1.

Btw Comrade Chamberlin...after watching TDOHS, your gif makes me shudder every time I see it.

Anyway, pretty good episode. Not the hit of the season or a good all-rounder like Ep 8. But it had a strong opening and a good closer. That's what any good compilation needs.
