we all know if he die or go to jail for the rest of his life someone else will take his place the same day and there is many other bastards like him around. so killing one wont stop the problem but we all know it will calm the little people just like with kadhafi death.

    1st i'm english
2nd saying syria will be free soon is void statement without any context.
3rd as far as i am aware in janruary of this year putin was stubbernly holding on to power by announcing his intent to become president of russia again.
4th kony is a power mad man with no cause except the cause to remain in power for as long as possable.
the idea that simpley removing him would solve the problem is naive live just isn't that simple.
there are simpley to many people out there with the same messed up values and they probably work under him.
if he just died who ever you would call his second in command would take control.

p.s your stand point is typical in the fact you seem think everything i type here is utter twaddle and absolute nonsence.

lol jinzo is kinda right ^^ if the punisment was actualy effective there would be no crime, but ppl who dont have anything to loose go past the law.

    1. Ok, you're English, odd, you act a lot like a group of people I met in Georgia but hey all types around the world I guess.
    2. I wouldn't say Syria being free soon is a void statement without context. But I'm willing to elaborate. The rebel forces in Syria are ridiculously strong right now, people are already comparing it to what already happened in Libya. We've got a bunch of people with guns who want a dead dictator and government and military official defecting, whether this is because they really think the rebels are in the right or because they're scared and just trying to survive, we'll likely never know.
    3. Yes, Putin is trying to hold on to his power by becoming president again and in fact won the "election" I never said otherwise, I said that Russia wants rid of him, and they do, his mere announcement that he wanted to be president again sparked mass riots and multiple assassination attempts. But this is just me rehashing what I already said, so you clearly weren't paying attention to that point.
    4. No **** that's what he's about
    5. It's not at all naive quite the contrary this is where you and I most disagree. Obviously there are people under him who would do the same if he were killed but you're thinking in way too small a scope. Things like these, no one just goes for the head, they target the organization as a whole, when we went after the Nazis we didn't just go after Hitler, we went after all the high ranking Nazis. The same will happen here, you're not giving the people trying to take him down enough credit, they're obviously going to target him more specifically but to think they wouldn't go after the people under him is just stupid, there are legitimate military forces of the region and they're not going to put up with this **** anymore, they will do whatever it takes to stop this and I doubt they'd be thwarted by a massive oversight like that. If they did they'd be the most incompetent people in the world. I just can't stress enough how much you're missing the big picture and thinking way too small on this one.

I don't know how to talk to you sometimes, am I just not being clear enough? Am I assuming too much from you that you can make logical intuitive leaps like any other person on the planet. Are you actually a machine?

I don't even know how to respond to this, like seriously do you not understand why people like Kony do what they do at all. It's not about laws or anything even close to that it's not that he doesn't have anything to lose, he has a lot. I... Just... I don't know how to talk to you, you come into a conversation, a pretty serious one and you use terrible syntax, grammar and misspellings and you horribly fail at making any kind of point. In an ideal society yes, there would be no crime and punishments would be effective. But this assumes a lot of things:
    1. An ideal society
    2. People are rational
    3. People follow rules because of the consequences of not following rather than following their own morality.

Number 3 is the biggest hole in your argument. Now Kony is in all likelihood a psychopath with no morals whatsoever and therefore puts himself above everything else. He doesn't care about right, wrong or even what the law says. Anyway congrats, you've demonstrated in one sentence that you don't understand how humans work, like at all. Are you sure you're even a human?

I am now no longer alone in my solitude. For I am now surrounded by the Furies, the goddesses of vengeance. In the darkness I awaited the dawn. And once dawn came I cursed my flesh until night fell once more.I even prayed I would loose my sanity but those prayers went unanswered. I even strove for death but the Devil's cold, pitiless hand held me back.

i do understand what you say, yes i am aware my spelling is bad but im too lazy to proove every single person that i can type decently just dont bother to, as for my own statement id like to point out that its the root of crimes, what follows comes wich change which happens due time.now you said hes a psychopath? you think a person who lived a happy live would go there?or is there some mass disease there possesing ppl into becoming warlords? i mean **** its afrika, ppl are starving, they dont want that , they will leave a bullet in your skull just to live longer with something in theyr belly.also i dont see your point in insulting me [not to mention we had a similar clash in psilosophy thread] rather then simply ingoring me if im THAT stoopid =B

Yes I do believe it's disease, nature vs nurture, some people are born psychopaths and some have psychopathy thrust upon them(probably to cope with living in such a ****ty place, as an adapt or die response, hard to say this sort of thing isn't as studied as it should be). I don't think the region is well understood, there are people trying to make it a good place to live because they're stuck there and no one would take them in if they could leave. I'm sure there are more normal people than psychopaths, we just don't hear about them cause they're not newsworthy.

you're going to need to explain that, I'm not sure it makes sense.

well if children are born psychopatchs its either 2 ways, genetics or stress, if its gernetics with a dominating factor it will **** up ****, if its from stress on the pregnant mother i dont think everyone will imediatly find life easy especialy with the environmental change so this would still proceed atleast in 1 generation.
i dont belive if in external disease since the ppl who go there dont go mad, or atleast i havnt heard anything like that.

no what i was saying is that the idea of just being able to take kony out of the picture would solve the problem is naive.
to be honest i understand the big picture and i completely agree with your statement and i'm sorry i didn't explain myself better.

also i'm not sure where in the posts it happened but i became under the assumption that you weren't seeing the big picture.
so i'd like to apologize for that.

it would appear that i have misjudge you so that the third thing i need to appologize for.

but i realy hope this gets resolved for the better.
