why do all entries need to go through dropbox.
I guess it's probably easier for zarx to get the clips.
but i've never used drop box.
I have to install dropbox on to laptop to use it?

Because it's more reliable than other file sharing services, seeing as a lot of them delete files after a while.

Yes, but using Dropbox is relatively simple.

On another note I was looking at the entry rules and realised that i'm not very good at doing funny amv's.
So maybe i won't be submiting anything after all.

Just try to think of something funny. You've got a relatively large pool of audio that hasn't been used before to pull from, along with over 100 years worth of footage, so there are plenty of options. The only real limit is what sources you have access to. I actually purchased some DVDs of movies from the 1950s out of a comic book store's bargain bin just for this occasion.

I don't think it's realy the lack of material thats the problem.
It's that comedy is different for everyone just coz i find it funny doesn't mean anyone else will.
But I think we might have over this topic before.

They were cool with something i did that has a pretty graphic stabbing in the head with a sword...Take that for what you will.

I would give you a video, but my computer couldn't handle making the one clip I submitted to 6, so I can't really. :/ Its not an idea problem, its more of a hardware problem.

You don't really need to "install" Dropbox, you can do everything through the Dropbox site. You upload a video to your Dropbox account (public folder) and when you right click on it there's an option to get the download link, that's the link you use when you're submitting.

Sort ofb. More like the only computer I have can't handle the video editing program I use. Its videopad, and it makes my micro laptop overheat like crazy

I didn't think that Videopad was so demanding. Ever tried Wax? I think it might run slightly better.
