Well think again, this is all In-Game Engine graphics.
GG consoletards.
CryEngine 3's been around for a while now.
This is why I have consoles AND a PC.

It takes more than good graphics to make a good game. I'd rather play an awesome game off the Super Nintendo rather than a horrible game with pretty graphics off my computer.

Did they say what kind of pc you need to run Unreal Engine 4 because it looks like you need a small super computer.
I will agree that a lot of old console games are great. However consoles are the reason the gaming industry is just producing the same pile of **** every game. Because of their horribad input devices, ****ty hardware, and lack of improvement for the game's software. Consoles are the reason DLC has become the norm as well as "Pay more monies to get beta access to maps!!" (lawlcannon at BF3).
Rumors are only a 1 gig Video Card is needed. Reason for this is most video cards these days run Direct X 11 standard. The Unreal 4 engine gets all its amazing quality from fully tapping into DX11.
Now that you mention it, my legend began on the same day as today. A Tuesday or a Wednesday. Or Saturday, even…No, it was on Monday. Though I SUPPOSE it could have been a Tuesday or a Wednesday…Thursday is a distinct possibility…Friday even. Although Monday does sound right…But Saturday is a lovely day to begin a legend. Perhaps it was a Thursday. Or Tuesday. Maybe Wednesday or Friday…There’s always Monday too. And Saturday, you can’t forget Saturday.

One of the reasons I've been losing interest in keeping up with the latest PC hardware, you can get a PS3 or 360 for the price of a new generation CPU, and a boat load of games for the rest of the hardware. Plus that Windows 7 gets crabby if you try to change too many parts or swap the HDD to the new box. (what's the point of a Windows system if you can't easily upgrade the hardware?) I think the ability to change hardware also leads many software companies to get lazy about optimizing their code, since they can just raise the minimum hardware requirements. There are some exceptions like Valve that make an effort to scale their performance for various boxes.
That said, I do agree that shooters and simulators are superior on PC. I just don't understand how someone can play a shooter on a gamepad, I've tried it and found it very counter-intuitive. Platformers, sports and adventure games are usually better on game systems.

The PC I bought last year cost me $1,000. It's hardware will be fine for gaming for the next 5-6 years. That is the life of a console basically with more perks than an console could handle.
Regarding Unreal Tech 4 ive also heard the Unreal 1 remake will be using the Unreal 4 engine. mmmm good stuff
