    AMV Minis Challenge #14: Beatbox
    Entry Period: Dec 11 - Jan 7

Your challenge this time is to make a video that uses some audio that consists of vocal sounds that are not words. This can be beatboxing, acapella of instrumental songs, and other similar things. You can even make the audio yourself if you want.

Before creating your video, please be sure to read over the following page, which details the rules and explains how to submit your video:

So are we allowed to use some spoken words, such as for commentary or to finish a joke, as long as the majority is unspoken?

Everybody should check out the artist "Pogo" for some inspiration.

So no Gregorian chants? I know it's Latin but 99% of people don't understand the words....
To help you remain tranquil in the face of almost certain death, smooth jazz will be deployed, in three, two, one...

This is fine as long as the spoken part is a small portion of the video.

I feel the same way about thick southern accents.

That's more of an issue with articulation than comprehending what people might say. If they speak english at least then it shouldn't be that much of a problem. That gregorian stuff is actually somewhat easier with good articulation and Latin being fairly easy and all.

I hope some people sample beatboxing from the Beatboxing World Championships, and not just random people beatboxing on Youtube.

Hmmm....I could go to Smooth McGroove, or do some of my own, look at Shlomo, etc.

This could be a very interesting challenge.

I've got a song in mind, now I just need to find something to go with it.
