I'm sorry, I had to. :P
I mean, seriously, it's AMV Hell, dude. We really don't need 320kbps for every damn clip. >_>
Not to say it isn't ideal, but it really isn't 100% necessary.
Are you nuts? WAV is CD quality, 320kbps is somewhere near CD quality and FLAC is 99% CD quality, but 128kbps? You must be kidding me, you must have no ears whatsoever.
Or maybe you're using a pair of $3 headphones, that would explain it. But srsly, I thought the dude who has compiled the soundtracks would be more experienced at this point. And I totally see now why the Hell 4 ost (and I'm guessing the others too) was in such horrible quality. I may sound too harsh but it's just... wrong

That was moderately funny I should say :P
Though, following your logic, do we need the proper video quality then? And why bother downloading b-ray or dvd rips of anime (I assume you do), why not just watch good old 640x480 xvid avi? And why play PS3/Xbox, just buy a NES or smth like that, or just plug the PS3 into a mono-chromic TV (who needs quality?).
I mean it comes with time, you watch anime/movies and you end up appreciating the video quality, you listen to music and you end up appreciating sound quality, I don't mean being a complete hipster audiophile/jerk. Just don't say 128 kbps is CD quality, and the world will be a better place. =D

I'm with you on FLAC. It is absolutely to die forhowever, it's hard as hell to get your hands on FLAC tracks most of the time. The only times I've come across them are when people are compiling Blu-ray translations for anime or when my sound junkie friend transfers some to me.
In that light, I can see how they wouldn't do FLAC for the soundtrack because hunting all the songs down in that quality is most likely impossible. If there was a way though, dear God, yes please.
...I've done all of those things. xD
I never said 128 kbps was CD quality, far from it, but it's really not as bad as audiophiles make it out to be.
ESPECIALLY when it's just AMV Hell. I mean, really, do we need perfect lossless audio when it's a 12 second AMV? Really?
I do believe, though, that less than 128 kbps is totally unacceptable, even for what is just AMV Hell >.>;
Meh, I don't like having those long useless discussions, but if you insist... =P Look, I said nothing about that "12 second amv" you speak of, and I totally don't insist on using FLAC in the clips (which would be really hard especially if you're using a FG clip, which is 87% of all the clips).
What I do mean, is that for a standalone soundtrack, which you're supposed to listen to, 128 kbps is not enough, unless it's "Surfing Bird". At least use 192 kbps. That will be more than enough for 90% people out there.
*edit*
yellowbluebus, I didn't mean to ignore you, I just agree on what you've said.

Please upload the latest version of soundtrack, though i've one of them there are not all the tracks, and all the links are out of date((((
Great thanks to that who'll do this)
I, too, would love it if someone was able to reupload the soundtracks.
I am hoping that all the AMV Hell sountrack torrents, specifically AMV Hell 5 can be re-posted as torrents (Megavideo isn't a thing anymore) Anyone even have any links for 5 I can have, incomplete/missing songs or not.

Do you understand?
Yes, people. Just keep asking like the 100 people before you have. Surely, that will hurry things along.
Just when you thought I couldn't become any more conceited.
Spoiler!
