I've seen a few LSx swap Subarus and I'm kind of getting the itch to do it to mine

Now for something not sexy at all:

This is an actual production model. Not sure how that happened, but I am pretty sure drugs were involvoed. Awesome drugs.

I know several people who would find that sexy. I love Volvos as well, but just a bit different looking...

    Love me some wagons

To each their own. Me, I find it highly amusing that someone actually went and tried to make a volvo pimpmobile, and that idea went all the way to production. Gives one a hint of faith in humanity.

Now this car makes perfect sense to me:

4x4, lightweight sedan, all the perks of a car - car handling, car mileage, and all the perks of an SUV - SUV off road abilities. As opposed to much of the "crossover" vehicles, that got the truck handling and mileage, with car off road abilities.

    Now this:

    That's just showy.

Today, I changed the rear shocks on my VW Passat.
Basically, you have to tear the whole back seat, deck, and trunk
apart before you can even see them. Rear calipers have to come off
in order to change the shocks. The bast part is that they're done.....
Saturday, I'll put the rest of the car back together.

This is what I did on my Mustang last weekend.

Complete rearend tear down. Installing solid bushings and a fresh limited slip diff along with upgrading to 3.73:1 final.

Getting new wheel bearings and extended wheel studs. It'll basically be a 0 miles rearend.

That seems like a lot of fun.

Recently I replaced the windshield wipers on my car, and now my front left headlight is out, I might take it to the dealership, or just wait for it to start working again.
I'm not sure, but one thing is for certain, I'm not replacing it myself like I did for my father's. :|

I actually really love doing all the work on my cars myself (or as much as I can, anyway). Gives me a real sense of accomplishment and I've got nobody to get mad at except myself if something ****s up.

    Heard that.
Most of my experience is with VWs. I've owned several Rabbits, 2 Rabbit GTI (Loved them!), Golf, Jetta, Quantum, Fox, and currently the above Passat.
For a while I was helping someone dismantle their parts cars. I know every bolt, screw, nut, clip, snap, seal and grommet on an 85-92 A2 Golf/Jetta.
And also had a few Fords: Gran Torino, Granada, Monarch, Zephyr, Fairmont, Grand Marquis (Loved that car), Crown Vic and even a Festiva that I bought new
and beat the balls off it for 65K before I traded it off. Also did a truly Redneck bolt-on to it...

Also FORD, just wanted to say I love how you got a little TANG in that one pic =D

Had to replace both my headlights, quite a pain, but overall, fulfilling.

Also cleaned out the air box, air filter, cabinet filter, fixed the broken glove compartment, and reattached my windshield wipers.
