it was by far the best clip in a technical sense, i had give that a vote.

the top 2 ended up being pretty obvious after the first round.

7th overall isn't too bad, almost a quarter of people voted for me

I voted for Petites as well.

Doesn't say who authored the clips?
To help you remain tranquil in the face of almost certain death, smooth jazz will be deployed, in three, two, one...

Of all the entries in the contest, this was my absolute favorite. This video is simply good in ways that I can't even begin to describe. A lot of people think that the key to making AMV Hell-type videos is just good jokes. But the jokes are only half of it. The video needs energy. It needs to draw you in. It needs soul. This video has that in abundance. Even if some of jokes fall flat or are lost in translation, I'm still intrigued by the clips themselves. This video hits the perfect balance of comedy, technical mastery, originality, and excitement, all the while never forgetting that it's an Anime Music Video at heart. I also loved the transition between clips, as it showed progression and came to life in it's own way, finally surprising me at the very end. This was also the longest video in the contest, but it certainly didn't feel like it. There was never a dull moment here. Not only is this an amazing video, but the creator knew it, and had the balls to call it out from the very beginning. Bravo.
I'm very glad to have won this special award. Such high praises from Zarx, I could do a lot of dirty jokes to express my satisfaction and beatitude...
    Thank you for this comment!

I personnally voted for 24-7: congrats to the winners. I really enjoyed this one and when it ended, I founded it too short, I really wanted more.
The concept of these shortened short tracks that allows to kept a high pace and to chain the jokes was very clever and effective.
    I still want more

    Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations, congratulations.....

Also, quick question: I know Zarx is done with AMV Hell, but will there still be AMV contests like this one?

Zarx already basically said this was the last thing he'll be involved in.

There might be more contests like this from others, though.

Good point. 24/7 was by SuperLoliSentai and SilentChaz. I'll add that to the top post.

A hearty clapping all around and congrats.

"Entertainment and amusement; are you familiar with either of these terms? This was a marvellous waste of time. I hope you misplace a step whilst walking down some stairs for this… but not actually fall down the stairs- just get a mild scare from the experience, forcing you to reflect on your decision to submit this worthless entry."

Only now do I spot the Brokeback Mountain easter egg in Petites. Very nice.

I can’t speak for Boss, but I for one feel very flattered by the results of the first poll in particular.

So, Zarx... am I a judge yet?
    1. READ THE CREDITS. This idea has already been done. Be original.
    2. Congratulations, you can splice together footage of Chinese cartoons to ill-fitting music. Try adding a joke to your next clip, please.
    3. Stop quoting entire posts and or stop double-posting.
    4. Don't fade-out. It telegraphs the transition frame.
    5. Watch out for black-screen at the start/end. It looks amateur.
    6. You need to use better sources/ different render settings.
