Yeah I can't figure out why and figured out the solution too late, the video I got from youtube is normal sized but when dropped into premiere is made smaller.

I've heard that complaint quite a few times

ya adobe can be stupid and keep them tiny for quality issue so at times you gotta click the clip and stretch it......it would be awesome that one it rendered it would fit to screen or something instead of manual doing it each and every clip

I've found out what it is, it defaults the "Safe working area" at 20%, if I set it to zero% it's fine.

But I have no idea how to retroactively set it back.
