Well Devimon was more of traditional Devil, not SATAN, which Diabolomon looked more like.

Besides I think the dubbers got confused since Diabolomon comes out as "Diaboromon" in Engrish.

That or Christian Holy Roler groups bitched at the usage of Holy figures in the anime, from what I heard, so Diabolomon was maybe changed because of that.

Then how did they fit Armageddemon, the second biggest badass in digimon history, into the series? Did the Christian-Everything-Is-God-Or-Satan's-Fault group just get lazy and move on to a different subject like they do everything esle?

I was just posting what I heard, of course this came FF.net so it's truth is sketchy.
Besides the engrish translation of Diabolomon to Diaboromon seems to be the best bet.

Worst Digimon villian had to be Myotismon though. He was cool up until the little face in his stomach. Season 2 sucked because they came up with an original villian, deamon, and then chose to bring back myostismon AGAIN!!! I like season 3 better, now that i've watched it all, but it had the worst Ending. The whole "We have to leave our partners because my father is a dumb ass not because of the two worlds conflicting." was stupid. I say give season 3 season 2's ending and just get rid of season 2. And Gatomon wasn't a champion. She was treated as a rookie with an ultimate level, but no champion level. I say this because none of the other digimon could hold their champion forms, they all reverted to Rookie and gatomon was the state all ways reverted back to. And Angewoman should have been treated as a champion level because that is how they treated Angemon and its kinda stupid to have patamon able to digivolve to angemon, but gatomon not be able to digivolve to angewoman.

The Second Season was ****. And the ending more so, EVERYONE hates the Season 2 ending, EVERYONE. The only ones with a realistic job would be Miyako, Hikari, Daisuke, and Iori, everyone else....yeah, no.

Season 3's ending on the other hand was more bittersweet, and was actually good. The Tragedy made it more so good, as to me was one of the only moments in anime that made me bawl my eyes out. (I seen it back when it first aired)
