Look, SSG. AMV Hell 5 didn't really look that promising to the other fans. Theming it will kinda downrate it even more. AMV Hell was always liked for its randomness. You never knew what joke was going to come next. The idea of theming this could take out the unexpectedness from it, and it may not even be funny when it gets released.

Is it just me or is it weird that the new creator of the largest anime music video collaboration videos (yes only /0, 5 and the upcoming 6/FF) Is a Junior member to the site that has hosted these videos for the last like what, 5 years? And on top of that he has been a member since 2007.

Honestly, I think this will turn out better than... that other AMV Hell 6... because we need 2 for some reason....

I am not opposed to themes but neither really sound solid enough to stand on their own. I imagine the FF Hell will be filled with the same tired gags and over used songs in previous Hell's but will try to get away with it using the excuse that "its FF footage, see its not the same!"

Anyway, Id suggest creating a third Hell like

and then merging all 3 into one movie that is split into 3 parts. Name it AMV HELL: 666

Well I thought the Azumanga Daioh Minis episode did it pretty well, and that was just with one show. This includes everything, and sounds like it will be filled with death and destruction. Woo

I think it will work well enough. This guy knows what hes doing. I was iffy about a minis episode with 7 second clips working, but it came through exceeding my expectations. I hope this Western one will be the same result. But I'm sure Hell #6 will be yet another hit.

Me too, but my problem is not I don't know how to make them, its I suck at make them. Got about one decent video out of my entire collection. So don't feel alone.

You know, tere aren't too many anime series or movies that depict broken worlds or "post-invasion" Earth or the end of the world.
High School of the Dead, Kurogane Communication, RahXephon (maybe), Wolf's Rain, Evangelion (inevitably), Cowboy Bebop (though it doesn't dwell on it) Akira, Angel's Egg, Metropolis, Fist of the North Star and anything related to that, Nadesico....there really aren't that many that I know of. Not to mention, High School of the Dead is the only Zombacolypse one I'm familiar with. I guess the Japanese like to believe that their world is staying put, and staying free of the undead?

(Well, there's Dragon Ball Z, where the whole world gets blown up and everybody dies at least 3 times, but no show that has Dragon Balls really has an "end of the world").

Digressing,
Laputa: Castle in the Sky (along with Metropolis) has some fantastic scenes of crumbling cities and dramatic destruction that would be perfect for an apocalypse AMV Hell.

Also, I can see this leading to a lot of mecha. Which wouldn't be bad at all, as long as people sharpen their lip-synching skills and don't just rehash videos from AMV Hell 3.

Digimon has a few moments of Apocalypse:

First Season: The Digital World and the human World nearly merging (YOU CAN SEE THE DIGITAL WORLD IN THE SKY!) and of course Apocalymon.

Second Season: Blackwargreymon nearly destroying the Digital World, BelialVamdemon infesting ze world with DARKNESSSS!!!!

Third Season: D-Reaper. Full Stop.

Fourth Season: The Royal Knights Devouring the Digital World, and Lucemon.

Fifth Season: The worlds almost merging, Kurata going Genocide on Digimon.

Sixth Season: Havn't Seen it, but it probably will go that route considering how "Beyond the impossible" it's becoming.

Personally I want to see some Tamers AMVs. Cosmic Horror, All the way~

Same for Haruhi, Death Note and the Big 3. In fact, Hell 6 should only use obscure anime like ghibli films and have limited showings at small local cons away from the mainstream popular ones like Otakon.
