Lame. Just unbelievably lame. Level of censorship, that is. The clip was OK even though both the audio and video has been recycled several times. But I guess you can call it a recurring joke.

I guess I'll have to either set up myself a R-rated collab or just dump all of my own **** into one. Collab would of course be better since if everything is from the same creator, it shows.

Anyway, political correctness has to die. Just came up with a few more ideas that would fit into ADHD attention span. I'll find one way or another to dump them into public. Maybe I'll try AMV Hell 6 and if they're found inappropriate, I'll redirect the same clips to AMV.AVI(.MP4) part 2.

...or I dump them myself as I possibly don't have the temper to wait 'til October. Depends on how fast I'll get into the editing. I have a lot of rust to get rid off. A new OS installation, and along with it a new version of Sony Vegas, and new AMVapp to learn.

Nah, I've got ideas related to Real Drive, Shuffle, Strike Witches, Detroit Metal City, Ultimate Blade Works, Fortune Arterial, Kodomo no Jikan (worksafe), Angel Beats!, End of Evangelion, Beck, 5cm/s, K-On!, Black Lagoon, Clannad, etc, etc... none of those is pr0n.

But I'm still a bit uncertain if blatantly racist remarks are OK... and extreme violence. No porn. I only have anti-porn in mind: stuff that will make you unable to obtain erection even if you wanted to. I wonder is poo would be OK... there's not been too much Doggy Poo AMVs around, have there (hint to other editors: you can have that one, I have some other things in mind).

Racist remarks seem to be iffy. You can hear the "n" word in an AMV Hell CE clip (Carcaptor Sakura/Boyz in the Hood) as well as in the Code Geass/Boondocks clip in AMV Hell 5. However, there seems to be a line between the word being used in dialogue passingly and it being used as an epithet.....the clips in 0 and /0 that contain the word feature a person pointing at another person and calling them "n*****"!, and that's apparently enough to get a clip relegated to a "bad stuff" video.

As for violence, CE could get away with showing Nana's arms being chopped off, and 4 got away with showing a rabbit get a headshot (a bloody one at that). But somehow, I don't think that you could get away with showing, say, the characters from GANTZ having their heads blown to pieces (since you can see pieces of flesh and drops of blood fly into people's faces).

I suppose just try and see......

all final fantasy amvhell is just a bad idea, honestly making more of these things is just a bad idea. It's always seemed to me that the ideal practice you should have when making a series is to stop before you end up just making ****. We haven't gotten quite that far yet but quality has been dropping.

I like the song, but it doesn't have a lot of pump to it? I think the ending song could be a little more epic... or something you know :x

I'm just a forum troll, but: There are many other shows that include scenes or themes of world-ending, even bishoujo-game-based ones like Clannad. Sure it's easy to go for the anime whose entire basis is the end of the world, but it would be both funny and interesting to use presumably cutesy/girly anime instead, wouldn't it? Kanon has phantoms attacking a school ball, Clannad has the lifeless dreamworld, Angel Beats! likely has tons of good scenes (the loss of the underground workshop), School Rumble has kids in a cave scenes that could be matched to some survival show's/movie's dialogue, one could put short clips from many and put it to the dialogue of Ghostbusters ("Dogs and cats living together, MASS HYSTERIA!"), or you could put cutesy songs/dialogue to the serious world-ending anime like Blue Gender (only thing I could think of that hasn't been done a thousand times, which I also happen to be watching at the moment...)

I like the idea of the theme. I thought 5 was absolutely hilarious, and all the Dio jokes didn't get old to me, I thought it great how the jokes kept coming. The only joke that started grating on my nerves was the Always I Wanna Be With You ones... but I guess they were appropriate, what with that game's surge of popularity and everything...

AMVHELL is one of the first things I was introduced to after starting to watch anime in college, and I loved it. 3 was great. 4 was even better. Both of them gave me tons of anime to watch. Obviously I didn't get a lot of in-jokes about some anime because I'd never seen them, but I still laughed because most of it is self-evident in the amv. 5 was as good or even better than what had come before, in my opinion as a Viewer. I could point out an amv here and there whose humor ran thin, but as a whole, the AMVHELLs have only gotten better. Keep it up!
