So...in THIS scenario:
PS3 has been out longer, with Blu-Ray - a current-gen tech
Lower price point than the Xbox3
support of various exclusives and a great backlog
A lower price given it's age
& free online


GC is a BAD example given how little 3rd Party support it had.



While I 'almost' get where you're coming from, you're wrong.
Sony needs to gain some good PR and it's NOT going to do that by rushing out a PS4 to compete with the Xbox3.

It's going to do that by keeping the PS3, plus Move, alive as long as it can while it makes a next-gen system that's -at least hardware wise- superior to the Xbox3.

I honestly don't see Blu-Ray being a very permanent fixture. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not some pleb who doesn't know a good picture when he sees it but blu-rays are slow as **** and people are scrambling to find something more efficient.

Unfortunately, the PS3 has a rather small log of "Mainstream" exclusives, considering that JRPGS are no longer considered as marketable in the wast as they once were. It has Resistance, Ratchet and Clank, Motorstorm, infamous and a couple I'm probably forgetting.

Does anyone honestly care about that thing? I've played it and the only games that require it that honestly make me want one are Time Crisis and House of the Dead 4.

And like I said, once the new Xbox comes out, 3rd party support will flock to it in droves, while the PS3 stagnates and Sony loses money.
Not delaying things is a good thing but not releasing it until 3-4 years after the new Xbox will just result in an endless game of catch-up that will just make the market even more hostile towards consumers than it already is.

You keep missing the point. 3rd Party devs aren't STUPID, they'll "downgrade" games for the PS3 so long as they sell - just like they downgrade games for the 360.

Both 360 and Ps3 have their flaws, and their strengths, one is not better than the other. They are just vessels to play vidya games, quit fighting over it like it's Religion or Politics.

That's because releasing games multi-platform has been deemed the most economical yaw to do it, meaning it must be able to run on the lowest hardware (The Xbox 360)

dementia city, came with 11 botles of skooma and gave it to the woman craving for it.got some **** and jewely.
went exploring and ended up in the town between mania n dementia ,did a killing quest [and some pickpocketing] got more skooma.decided to return to dementia for more jewelry.
upon returning i cant find the woman and the guards are slowly walking towards me [can see throu walls], get cornered,decide to rush out so took a shot of skooma for speed, while dodging a guard i jumped into a wall, went past it and fell few feet under the city. there i saw the skooma lady. she was dead.
i got scared XD

Seems another example of how far behind Nintendo is has surfaced.

Hope you in EU regions don't plan on playing Mario Tennis Open with any of your friends in NA regions, Cause Nintendo region locked the online play for the game. Also hope you don't plan on playing it online during an over seas trip, because The game is also IP locked.

Good to see Nintendo still limiting gamer's freedom in the most ridiculous ways possible.

I'll stick to my Dying alone SOLO vidya games, I much prefer a game with a complex and interesting story than ****ing multiplayer.
Hence why SCV pissed me off so much. Lack of Single Player Content... Dx
