So I have begun to design custom playmats and I wanted to share them with everyone.

At yugioh regional/state tourneys, do people still stack up all the official mats they have won on top of each other as a way of **** measuring?

don't know as i have never been to a regional tournament

we didn't do that in the u.k.

currently working on a gurren lagann mat with core drills in all the zones

I play magic I started with a blank white mat and whenever I go to a large event they usually have the artists who do the card art there so I get them to draw one of the cards on it. I will put up a pic when I get off work

This is the one I break out for large tournaments. I am probably going to start another one since a homeless black woman wandered into the game shop and spilled coffee on it I tried to get some out with a toothbrush and bleach but it was no use. anyway here it is with a card on it for perspective

I dont know about yugioh but in Magic you get a pin for when you top 8 a pro tour qualifier or other major event and people pin them on their mats. at one point I had a mat that looked like it was made of pins now I just have them all on one of my deckboxes

Oh I remember the pins, when I and other friends moved to MTG and we found out about the pins, we started putting those free Yugioh pins they gave out and claimed we got them from top 8'ing at major events.



And at some point, to mock the whole stacking up your mats thing, we started playing with Welcome Home mats. "Welcome to your doom" is what we would say. This was all before AMV Hell 4 or else we would had been saying "Welcome to dying."
Also played on the paper mats that came with beginner structure decks.
