This is a hentai project. The idea of it now having both is demeaning to the original vision. Remember the movie we are paying tribute to? Yes, i have no problem with violence, gore, and swearing included with all the sex, but i don't want the original focus bastardized because you wanted a long ass video.

If you want straight Hentai I can put a stop to the family friendly clips here and now but my reason from straying away from A Serbian film to begin with was because it never caught on like I expected it to. It turned into one of those cult of a cult classics instead of a memeantic hit like the Human Centipede did. Not many people knowing about the source material was my biggest fear when starting it and A.S.F. more or less passed its moment of glory already.

Forcing it to be longer added a bit extra which if it is seriously long enough it can easily be more grueling to sit through than the video its centered around. But with added length comes an issue of will people bother to watch it all or cut out an hour in and say "yup this will just be the same over the next hour or more" which is bad for everyone.

Now since it is getting length I knew I needed juxtaposition which is the key here. We need a few things in there that just are not straight Hentai Music Videos because Hentai videos without music and audio only can only be unique for so long without having something just absolutely on the other end to make people see its not all going to be the same. But what I just mentioned as a new idea was simply the method of delivery. opening, clip, transition, clip transition....credits done has been used everywhere most likely because it works but I am wanting to split that up a bit if possible. How? I am not quite sure yet so I probably shouldn't have mentioned it but if it must be long it can't feel long if that makes any sense at all.

In short, most places cut their pizza into slices. Some places cut their pizza into squares. I am that place that cuts a pentagram in a pizza for one guest and into octagons the next. Is that the best way to cut pizza? Hell no but its different and with each experimentation I hope to find something new that works until I find the next Pizza Pazzone or cheese in the crust breakthrough to the already overused formula.

So, what this comes down to is you not learning from the criticism you got from amv.avi and gainaxxx? Live and learn nigga.

Besides that, what part of "we are committed" did you miss? What happened to the guy who told everyone who couldn't appreciate amv.avi "**** you!" I personally don't give a **** if a Serbian film isn't as popular as originally predicted or lost its 15 minutes of fame. This is an established concept to center this project around and it's one i've been modifying this project to for awhile. Hell, my amv project is centered around paying tribute to a 20 year old cartoon but do you think i care whether the source was the most popular thing in the world or not?

All that included, i would strongly suggest you start actually looking at what we've already given you for this project before you speak of modifying it.

What I learned is to not randomly have credits towards the end and that above all leveling audio needs to take top priority when releasing something of this magnitude. From there ever new project is an experiment. I gotta say AMV.avi as an experiment went far better than expected. Gainaxxx as a whole came out a bit worse than expected but had enough of its own flavor to not be considered a failure by any stretch of the imagination.

Now I am not saying anything needs to e changed but how its delivered not what is being delivered. Yeah I need to check through all of whats in but I won't be asking for changes that are not needed in the videos themselves. Any and all connection to A Serbian Film will be nice but I now view A Serbian Film as Toonami and I need to use that concept and story to create something within that block that makes each section feel like its own part of a larger picture. Videos are the shows Serbian Film is the network now with all that we put it together and have something thats not only rape, gore and sex jokes but something thats varied enough to warrant watching. Check that pizza analogy I made in further detail, I didn't just write that to make a funny comparison theres more too it. Pizza is pizza, a video is a video. You can make it an all veg pizza and remove the very concept of what a pizza has been known to be and find something new then add on from there while keeping it in a pizza style. A pizza is a pizza after all. Lets say A AMV Film is this all veg pizza and just came out. Well no matter what toppings or what arrangements of those toppings it will still be considered a pizza. Now it is its own thing, not technically a pizza and biased on something not truly of pizza origins but closer to salad backgrounds but it retains the fact that its a pizza. I am seeing what ways I can present a vegetable pizza (AMV video dedicated to a specific idea ((A Serbian Film))) with many different toppings (types of videos from hentai to non) and still have it cooked and sent out as a veg pizza. (Still being a tribute to A Serbian Film but not using it as a one concept wonder by making it more than just a tribute)

In that regards I learned from Gainaxxx and AMV.avi. Nobody wanted to just watch **** references but it worked great with enough of those thrown in the mix to keep the idea alive. Gainaxxx was too ambitious for the small team it had and wasn't able to truly take the company that is Gainax and capture what it is in a video using only their videos. Instead it turned into AMV Hell: Gainax edition instead of Gainax presented through AMV's. Which wasn't bad just not the intended result.




Shorter version without the pizza talk: A Serbian film will always be the videos focus but it won't be what the video is about. It's about HMV's/AMV's with A.S.F. as a wrapper.

While the idea doesn't sound like the most pleasant thing to me in the world in text format, i'll just watch and be ready to laugh my ass off if this little plan of yours fails. Tis the way of the Nintendo Porn Company Conspiracy.

Really, the only thing that sounds appealing to me is the concept of using toonami style bumps to split this thing up. (If that's what you were implying)

That could be included but would not work well with videos that about the length of time the bumpers take to show whats coming next. That would be an instant fail unless incorporated into some sort of organized. "Whats up is scat videos" , "Up next Maids" , "After that loli and catgirl" or something. To use those type of bumpers a video would HAVE to use a very condensed and organized grouping of videos. Which possibly could work but I don't like the sound of that. The videos going to be good don't worry about that. It will also most likely have plenty of bugs since I am still getting use to these type of large videos and always am looking for something new to try but hopefully non or few of the bugs the past videos have had will creep in. So yeah what I'm saying here is I am too ambitious to let something fail for if the delivery is poor which I am always to innovate on, the content won't be. As long as I don't open my inbox and find low quality videos that have had their jokes done to death theres no way that part can go sour.

What would you like to see?
A straight up 20-45 minute long video of unconnected clips dedicated to one movie.
A video thats the same length as the movie its based on and follows a similar flow as the movie.
A long video that is split up into sections all centered around a single premise or movie.
An extremely long video that plays out like a TV network's average programing.
Or a combination of any of those all of which including the fact that each video will have its own plot/joke and will be disconnected from the next video in some way even if they are slightly related?

I am liking how the third one feels. A multi sectioned video opens up possibility unlike the other few but it would be interesting if the types could be split up into ways A Serbian Film progressed. Like if the film were Se7en then each section would be biased on each of the seven deadly sins in order to Pride at the end. Clips about lust, Clips about acts of Gluttony (vore included), Clips about Greed, Lazily put together clips for Sloth, Angry clips or anger directed towards the lazy clips from before, Envious clips referencing better works or hitting on other similar videos, and ending with a great Prideful display of self satisfaction. Actually that sounds pretty kick ass I wouldn't mind seeing something like that done.
This is taking what a video did and using it to influence the way its organized since theres little to no way to hope for this type of project to be coherent and centered around the same subjects. A Serbian Film had some heartwarming moments but it was mostly violence and sex in increasing waves of brutality which in the simplest terms we could use the types of shock scenes to craft sections, idk its still speculation on what may work.

Nope, I do mass downloads and with three people submitting work there's not been much of a need for a mass download besides to keep up with NP's submissions which I owe him at this point to do a download round.
