So.... Have any of you breaten Portal? I would imagine most of you have... but still! What do you think of the Orange Box?

Also: Whats the oldest game you have beaten (not including Pac-man,Pong, or any of those, I mean 1990s era games) ?

My oldest victory over a game would have to be.... damn I forgot the name, it was an Anchient Fighter Sim, and it was really fun now that I think about it, and then there was Terminal Velocity, and Captain whatever, and Hocus Pocus, and OHH! Secret Agent! HA! MSDOS FTW!

Yea I played portal. The cake may be a lie, BUT THE CUBE IS FOREVER!!!

As for oldest game I have ever beat...I guess that would be the very first Zelda game.

I'd say that the orange box is very much worth the money, fun as hell.

First game must be super mario 64 one the N64....one of the best game ever made!

I think I win with Secret agent and Terminal Velocity thus far.

I finished it up, it was a pretty awesome game. I don't understand all the "game of the year" and "best game ever" stuff that it's getting though.

Of the other stuff in Orange Box, I haven't really touched most of it yet. Only other game I have tried is Half-Life 2, and I've made it up to after you get the gravity gun.

Yeah, I don't really understand the whole 'Game of the year' system, because there are several games that get that award every year...

As for 'Best Game ever', I too am confused. Looking at it from the standpoint as someone that hasn't played any HL games, Portal isn't the best ever. Hell, it doesen't even make much sence.

Even if you still played the HL games, it still dosent make much sence, but you are able to get more of the inside jokes.

IN SHORT: It was fun, not the most fun game in the universe, but fun nonetheless.

Keep playing HL2, its great, your already about halfway through it anyways.

ep 1 and 2 are simply Half Life 2.25 and 2.50 respectively... Assuming their going to make another two Episodes, Personally, I think Half Life Episode 3 is ging to be the last, considering the increase in leangth, and story progerssion in the prior episodes. I would be totally, wrong, but I would wager they wouldn't make more then one more episode after 3.

I ain't even touched Orange Box yet, so I ain't got no clue what this cake thing is. As far as the oldest game that I have beaten, I was going to say "The Oregon Trail" (I'm talking about the original one that was on those big ass floppy discs) but I can't because you said it had to be post 1990. So I'll go with my fourth oldest, "Shining Force" for the Sega Genis, which came out in 1993.

Well by post 1990, I meant nothing blaringly obvious or popular loike pong, pac man, space invaders,... Speaking of which does anyone remember the name of that Australian space invaders cop-off? It's name eludes me at the moment, and the funny thing about it was that the ripoff was more fun then the actual game. :P
