Hi ive beena fan of anime for about two yaers now and have seen many differant and decent ones. But recently i have hit a wall....i can't seem to find any good animes worth watching and i hate having watching an anime halfway waiting for one new episode a week to be subbed. SO THE QUESTION IS does anybody know of any good anime that has already been completed?

Whoa, wtf! Your currently watching 39 different Anime at Once?
I thought i was alot when i was watching 7 (well 3 were on hold since the ending episodes haven't been subbed yet).
Filleraol must have 100's of DVD's of Anime stored at his house, or all backed up on an External HD.

pretty ironic that I saw this post just after the post I made in the random rants thread xD
Never bought anime, but I have around 100 dvd's with backuped anime
and it's nice to have a lot on the computer to watch, depending on which mood I am in

Heheh. I got a bunch that i need to watch but i never get time. My mom and dad keep bitching and always interupt me so i can't ever get time to watch it when they are home.
I so wish i had a lock on my bedroom door so i can watch anime in peace.

Grenadier's pretty good. I own the dvd's but watched it subtitled before that so have not seen it dubbed...
I suggest the Clamp's series and the movie X. Very good stuff.

Trigun
Cowboy Bebop
all of Satoshi Kon (Perfect Blue, Paranoia Agent, Millennium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers and Paprika)
Baccano!
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (both series)
FLCL
Dennou Coil
Last Exile

*starts adding to the list*
anime like Trigun and Cowboy Bebop is that they've become so common (heck, both series have run full course multiple times, in english, on cartoon network), FLCL and GitS are getting near that point as well. Even Paranoid Agent has had at least one run.
This just goes to show that the older good series are starting to trikle into english markets.
Vandread was interesting and a little odd.
*goes back to adjusting list, realizes how long the list of watched stuff has become*

I thought Grenadier overall was good but the ENDING SUCKED. She had her POINT BLANK RANGE, and gave up. I don't think it ended good, Like Elfen Lied. Good Anime Overall but Ending sucked, Left WAY too open.

I like when an anime has an open ending sometimes, and not the usual "i love you, you love me, let's live happily ever after" etc etc -., mkljh
but sometimes that kinda ending is nice I guess
but an open ending leaves you thinking, I like that

Totally agree!
I don't think I'll ever run out of anime to watch. Whenever I'm done downloading a series...something about me seems to want to simply download more to have something to look forward to...but I have to stop since I've already filled up an 200GB exteral harddrive and I only have 38.8 GB left on my computer :x
But my recomendations for you to watch would be:
Black Cat
Code Geass
FLCL
Rozen Maiden
Paranoia Agent
Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni- 1st and 2nd season

ya i know what you mean, back when my laptop worked i managed to fill all my free space up to the point where i had to start choosing shows to delete to make room for new things, then i bought an external harddrive, its filling at a decent rate.

Not entirely true. Baccano! is 13 eps long and there are also 3 DVD-only OAV episodes, which add more background to some of the characters or continue their story.
Isaac and Miria are simply brilliant characeters - wait till you see what they say at the very end of episode 13. Good stuff.

you haven't seen excel saga?!?
anyway you should watch in this order:
1. Last Exile
2. Excel Saga
3. Zoku sayonara zetsubou sensei (assuming you saw the first season)
4. Darker than Black
5. Serial Experiments Lain
don't watch Chobits, the manga is WAY better
oh and I haven's seen it but I hear Baccano is almost as good as last exile so it's supposed to be really good
DaMetzger

My version:
Baccano!
Last Exile
Great Teacher Onizuka
Darker than Black
and Excel Saga inbetween. Why inbetween? The pace of the show is incredibly fast so it can get tiresome. It is worth a watch nonetheless, but in small batches.
About the other series:
Chobits - it wasn't bad at the beginning, but the whole conclusion and some of the statements about relationships made me want to murder puppies
Noir - it would be way better if the characters weren't invincible; here's an example: a girl is standing still on a flight of stairs with NO COVER and 10 bodyguards are shooting at her and miss. All of them... ::)
Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei - same as with Excel, the humor can become tiresome in bigger batches
Scrapped Princess - decent, but nothing extraordinary
Serial Experiments Lain - boring, monotone and horribly complicated; still, it's a must see classic
Mawelli

One thing though...I love Yo****oshi ABe's work...so I will watch it :D
