Well, that's my question...

Right now there's a lot of clonic ripoffs of the original Hell concept.
I can guess that some are good, and some are just right moronic; but the real question is how you can keep the concept (a lengthy succession of multisituational clips) fresh for so long and after too many additions?
In other words, how we can keep eating deeeelicious copypasta without indigestion?

I have some ideas about that...
For example, no more free for all in the anime section. One anime as the footage, and the rest is the pure genius of the clip-maker using uber-editing skillz or selecting pure win sound and image combination.
And example can be Evangelion, an anime that some people hate, and some other love, but for sure an anime that all people knows.
If enough people put their minds into it, I can think of a very decent proyect of Evangelion in all context imaginable.
Like that old Fanta Shokata site, who only had like 6 videos and the capacity of only three subs per clip, but countless of situations where put in so little.
I believed the imagination can make original content more easy if some parameters are established. But that's only my two cents.

What you guys think?
Oh, like always, sorry for the crappy english...

I think the problem is videos that suck. The trick to keeping it fresh is having a lot of videos that don't suck. By limiting to a specific anime, you limit the number of ideas that people can work with, and thus I think that would lead to a larger amount of suck.

Not necessarily. Dokidoki's Hell0 Fairy was quite good and it used only one anime... Then again most people don't have as many good ideas to constantly use the same anime.

Maybe.
But the examples of videos that doesn't suck for sure I can say they will be awesome.
I believe that more amazing things comes out if you restraint your imagination to some boundaries.
But that's only me...
