Figured I'd bring this up, though it might not bear a lot of outstanding surprises. This thread goes out to all those whose ppd have dropped a few recently, who can't seem to (or would rather not) find time in the day to chat with one's fellow Hellmates, and whose intervals between posting flurries often range from days to weeks. You know who you are.

I'll admit that I'm one of the worst offenders, so I suppose I'll briefly explain. Yes, I do attend school from morning until mid-afternoon, and am also working about 25-30 hours a week at a new job, so much of my weekends and after school periods are occupied. When I'm not doing one of those two things, I'm either doing various menial tasks involved in yacht upkeep or spending time with my local friends (sadly, while I can fairly easily disregard the forums, saying "no" to them is a bit trickier).

I'm extremely sick today with a fever, among other things, so I have little other option at the moment. Having just woken up recently (it's almost 5 PM :P). So, out of curiosity, what's your excuse?

Not that I should get many answers soon, due to the nature of the people I'm requesting them from...how ironic. :-\

I am horribly sick myself. This cold gets a LOT worse some days, and then others i'll be fine. Today is not a good day. It's been like this for a month, at least.
Not to mention, I am like, the most unlucky person when it comes to diseases and ilness. I have about 12-16 doctors appointments a month to try to fix all the crap wrong with me. It's so bad I can't even work at the moment. I have this scan one day, then that surgery another, etc. and it never ends. I can barely get out of bed some days, and I jsut want to rest.

withing the last 24 hours, one of my good friends, Nikki, told me to go **** myself after calling me an ignorant b**** who deserved to get kicked out of college for being so stupid....just for not suporting the republican party. I've gotten used to my body feeling like crap, but this just has really hurt my self esteem; hurt my spirit, if you will. I just feel lost within myself, numb to everything but the pain my body is so gracious to remind me off.

There are times where I just want to give up. But Abyss reminds me there is hope and something worth living for, and I love my squishy one for that. I doubt I'd still be here if not for him/her. But once I'm better, we can get a place together, and things can finally improve. This ordeal will be over in just a few more months i'm told, just a few more surgeries.... until then I do as I can with the energy I have.

I'm just joking around. But it is kind of annoying that in order to be able to communicate in every european country you'd have to know at least russian, english, german, spanish, french and possibly italian.

thats the only reason i like the states, we speak English, except for our gas station attendants and cleaning people (albanian and spanish respectively), but even they understand us and can sorta form sentences.

My mother thought it was today ( the 1st) and surprised me by taking me out to lunch. we also bought my new lap top ( which i wont' get till use till christmas) but I went with the Toshiba one. It was originally 1,600$, and it was marked down to 800$. Plus my mother had a 20% off, and I ahd a 100$ gift card as a kind of severence pay from when i left work. so yea, we got a ridiculous cheap price on this thing.

I may seem silly, but it really cheered me up to know m family hadn'y compleatly forgotten about me :)

Happiness is a fickle thing, you know? something as simple as reconition really made me day. Of course, my sister is trying to rain on my parade, but whatever. I know what you mean when it comes to that, that was the main excuse for why I abstained during the summer. When I&#39;m depressed, I don&#39;t want to do anything, and trying to joke and act in high spirits on the internets just isn&#39;t fun. No, I put on my nicest clothes, sit in my favourite chair, fill up a small glass of brandy and nurse it for an hour with some (favourably) Oscar Peterson playing softly in the background, thinking only of the object of my depression. I don&#39;t know how you choose to handle your emotions, but that&#39;s me. :P

Although usually if I do decide to pull out of my rut, dedicate a little time and have fun with you guys, I rarely regret it. :)

I really wish I had a system that was actually worth playing. I mean, occasionally running GH or RB on my PS2 with some friends just doesn't really cut it for me these days, in our age of technological discovery.

Hey... I haven't been posting much since Mawelli left. I feel really torn up about it, and I keep blaming myself like it's my fault for some reason. Was I too creepy? Was i not friendly enough? Did I give him too many webcomics to read?

I know it's stupid, but I can't help it. I have abandonment issues. As abyss can tell you, I have a LOT of problems with my memory as a result of a head trauma when i was small. i forget thigns, faces, people...all the time. I know I had a cousin Steven, and I know we were close; my mother still shows off the picture of us drinking baby bottles together when we born. We supposedly inseperable growing up, and tet I can't remember him. He died several years back, and with him out of my life in the now, i've forgotten him. All I can remember is that photograph of us drinking bottles, and that he's dead. My cousin, my playmate for over a decade, reduced to two sentences.

I don't want to forget people... not mawelli or anyone else. And I know I will. If he never comes back, if we never speak again... then i won't remember him in a year, or even of having this anxiety of forgetting him. I don't know how many times I've had this happen, and it scares me. I'm scared of of losing everyone in my life, family, abyss, my mind! I don't want to end up like my grandmother who can't even remember her name or not to crap in her pants. Everytime i look at her, it's a haunting image of what I'm afraid I will become.

But it's all out of my hands, you know? Since Mawelli left, I keep getting these anxiety attacks every time I come on here. I kept my self up all last night, afraid of what i was going to forget if i slept. I try not to dwell on this stuff, and yet when thigns like this happen, when people leave me as they so often do...it just reiterates my worst fears.

I probalby should have written this in the random rants...but i guess my point is i havent' been posting as i'm still hurting.

Well, I am of the opinion that a) You can never be too creepy on here, b) I'd say you're one of the friendliest people who post (except when you retort a sexist comment), hell, you made me cookies that time and all I did was express our friendship :) and c) I love webcomics. And so did he. ;D

I guess what I'm saying is...what you're going through sounds truly horrible, but I would at least imagine, out of all the reasons that one might possibly leave this very time-consuming place, that the refreshingly kind, cheery, funny, and generally well-meaning and delightful person (and the only confirmed girl on here :D) probably isn't one of them...But again, that's just me talking...

Thanks zorg. I'm trying not to dwell on these feelings, but it's had at times. I know I should carry on and not let it get to me, but that seems like the easiest way to forget as well. It's just sad... i know i'd be better of forgetting this pain, and yet i'm scared of it too.

ran into my first Yao Guai today; think angry radioactively mutated grizzly that likes to try and eat my face.

I had noticed a trio of green pings on my radar, most likely a caravan which was good cause i needed more ammo and to sell some stuff to lower my weight. Traders are usually well armed and have at least one bodyguard with an automatic weapon, as i approached (i was in stealth as always) i noticed that the green pings vanished and only a fast moving red ping remained, it was charging off to a pair of brahmins (mutated cows, also green pings cause they don't attack).

I shot the thing in the head (bolt-action hunting rifle), which appeared to only anger it and draw its attention to me. as it charged I unloaded an entire 30 round clip from my 10mm SMG into its face before it fell.

Since then i've managed to catch 4 more off-guard with my sniper rifle, if only i had more ammo for the thing i'd use it more often.



oh, and i registered for my next semester of classes.

i actually hit the nest of Deathclaws in Old Orney around level 9, it was actually a bit easy to deal with them, but then again i had spent like 4 hours fighting Deathclaws in fallout 1 so i already had a basic plan, thin hallways with landmines and rifle shots to the head, if they get within a certain range switch to either combat shotgun or if i'm feeling confident my magnum.

it's sad, deathclaws don't bother me (they big and they stand more or less upright), but Yao Guai and Mirelurks give me trouble (beastly and tiny faces respectively).

For one, humans can do almost anything they are taught to do, humans also currently only use 1/3 of their max strength and not all their brain power, they are also able to adapt to most weather conditions, and humans brain and reflexes can be trained to insane levels of skill.

thats why every time i play a new game i start on the hardest setting, cause then my brain and reflexes adapt to the level of difficulty almost instantly making me a much better player then if i did the easy modes first.

also sometimes i see the future when i sleep but dont remember until months later when i have a sense of deja vu and i know almost exactly whats going to happen, many other people i have asked this said they experience the same thing.

Yeah, but I think that if we did use all of our strength, we might...die, or something similar. I don't know, but from what we've determined pushing humans to use greater strength than we've been accustomed, it leads to much pain and suffering. Due probably to the lack of energy, due to our need for that energy in maintaining our internal bodily functions, like breathing, and heart beats, and bowel movements and whatnot.

I think that abyss and Marco (now spontaneously inactive) were locked in a silent struggle for the highest ppd at one point, around 40 each...good times. Wonder what became of him.

I didn't post for a few days just now: no particular reason. I went on the site more than once, just didn't feel like saying anything...plus I was watching NGE. Never seen it before, but it's pretty awesome so far. Too bad I already know most of what happens. ::)

Figured I'd bring this up, though it might not bear a lot of outstanding surprises. This thread goes out to all those whose ppd have dropped a few recently, who can't seem to (or would rather not) find time in the day to chat with one's fellow Hellmates, and whose intervals between posting flurries often range from days to weeks. You know who you are.

I'll admit that I'm one of the worst offenders, so I suppose I'll briefly explain. Yes, I do attend school from morning until mid-afternoon, and am also working about 25-30 hours a week at a new job, so much of my weekends and after school periods are occupied. When I'm not doing one of those two things, I'm either doing various menial tasks involved in yacht upkeep or spending time with my local friends (sadly, while I can fairly easily disregard the forums, saying "no" to them is a bit trickier).

I'm extremely sick today with a fever, among other things, so I have little other option at the moment. Having just woken up recently (it's almost 5 PM :P). So, out of curiosity, what's your excuse?

Umm... It's been a year, and I get impatient for replies. Plus school. Yeah that.

Not that I should get many answers soon, due to the nature of the people I'm requesting them from...how ironic. :-\
