I find this tangent very... interesting. I have almost never found her attractive! The same is true for Excel from Excel Saga. Now, they were both designed to be attractive, but somehow it doesn't get to me. The weirdest part is, I would love to have them as friends. And maybe that's it: I like crazy friends, but I think that if I fell in love with a crazy girl, we would do nothing more productive than burn chain restaurants down all day.

And I just realized something else: that's because I'm really like a male version of Haruhi (or Excel). Putting two of me in the same room together would precipitate the end of the world as we know it, I have no doubt.

I'm probably making a false pattern in my puny human brain. Would you say that more recent anime babes are generally more attractive than they were about ten to twenty years ago? I ask because a lot of the candidates are from fairly new series.
