it was more like dvd order.....which is mostly chronological...but the ep were the are filming the movie is shown first...fallowed by the rest in chronological order.....and i liked it....but i didnt really like the ending....

Haruhi becomes frustrated and jealous of Mikuru's friendly relationship with Kyon. One night, Haruhi's power is activated without her knowing. Haruhi and Kyon become trapped in a sealed reality at their school. Before long, a blue giant appears and begins to destroy the school and the surrounding area. As more appear, Kyon and Haruhi evacuate the school. Kyon uses hints, provided by Yuki and Mikuru beforehand, to defuse the situation and escape. In the end, he expresses his desire to return to the old world and kisses Haruhi, which brings the two back to the "old world". It is not indicated if the world that Kyon returns to is really the previous world, or if it is the new world that Haruhi created during their time inside closed space.

I made this poll for a reason, a personal reason: I've watched it chronologically, but think that I didn't get the most out of the show that way. I think that using episode 7 as the end gives the viewer more closure. Though I have little time (in general), I'm debating watching it in aired order and want to know if its worth my time.

What you two have just said suggest that it is. So... is it?

from what i can gather...it is....im the same....ive only seen it chronologically....i might watch it in aired....though it would have to be in english and on youtube.....the torrents i have are annoying to watch....and i can only really find it in English on youtube....

1: they dubbed over the songs in ep. 12

yes it is definitely worth it i got excited before i watched each episode and when it was finished i was sad, i had that same feeling after watching both seasons of black lagoon in one night and was so sad once it finished i want more

anyway back on subject u should watch it again in the aired sequence it's a completely different story

i've actually sat down and watched it in both orders, all subbed of course...

aired order can be a bit confusing and hectic at times but it also revealing what is going on at a much better rate.

if watched chronologically, the last episode of the series is actually the 5th episode and brings a sort of closure a little soon.

i thought it was the other way around the aired one gave closure but left a possible opening for a second season which is happening
