My parents/aunt/sister have a habit of naming every car/truck/SUV/etc they own "betsy." I have no idea why.
I have a cute stuffed Panda bear named Rachel; i tell my friend rachel it's so i can grab her ass at anyime, and snuggle with her even when she's not here :)

Agreed.
I only call my objects by th first letter of their name and a number designation.
EX: Game computer = C1, work computer = C2, Laptop = L
I even apply it to my friends!
F1
F2
F3
F4
and the list goes on and on.

Well, just to start this off: If TheEndOfAllThingsGreen is going to be posting here regularly, can well call him Green? It would make all of our lives a lot easier. And it goes along with the thread! ;D
Hmm... well, my iPod's name is Atomsk, and his predecessor was Podenator.
The desktop I'm currently typing on is Pyro. My laptop is a black Acer comp, so it's name is acer nigrum, the scientific name for Black Maple.
My cellphone doesn't have a specific name, but I tend to refer to it as "that durable piece of ****"... it's four years old, and it's third-hand. It really is a junker by today's standards, but it hasn't broken in any way, so I can't bring myself to replace it :D.

Yeah, we could call him Green, if we wanted to completely defy everything that his name actually stands for. Not only would that be funny, but certainly a lot easier. Ftw. :P
I have been known to call my cat Bobo, despite his actual name, so that somewhat qualifies. Also, when referring to the watercolour painting of Sidney Crosby that I bought for $32 at our school's yearly Charity Christmas Auction, it must invariably contain the prefix "Terrible-" (I'm going to try to make a profit on eBay, shouldn't be difficult). My dad's car is named Maurice, it's a Subaru station wagon that's got over 400,000 km on it now, and I might be getting it soon. Good times with Maurice...
At the end of every night at work, we scrub the floor and push all the water/soap/etc. into the floor drains with squeegees. I took it upon myself to nickname the best one Racing Stripes, due to the fact that it's red, while all the others are grey. It really didn't take too long to catch on. :D Funfun.
Edit: Oh yeah, I've also got some names for stuffed animals of days past. I had an elephant that I named Tobyso when I was two, for whatever reason. Then there was Stunt Bear and Stunt Bear Jr., Jr. had the most awesome bowler hat ever that I made for him, but it flew out the window one day on a car ride. :( A penguin named Pingu (original, no?), a shark named Max, and I'm almost certain I had a little plastic praying mantis named Rondell. There was a whole hell of a lot more, but I'd have to remember them by sight, and I don't feel like going out into the shed to walk down memory lane today...

My cat's name is Sei-kun. Officially :P. It means Blue-"boy" (referring to his blue-gray fur)... kind of. As all of you know, the Japanese suffix "kun" is attached to a young boy's name signifying endearment. However, as most of you know, the Japanese word for blue is aoi, not sei. Well... aoi isn't such a great name for a cat, since it takes about 30 minutes for your average American to figure out that it's not spelled "owie" and shouldn't be pronounced as such. So I asked my Japanese friend for a better name, and she suggested "sei". Sei is the Japanese pronunciation of the kanji meaning blue in CHINESE. So the name wouldn't make much sense to a Japanese person, but it rolls well.
Which didn't keep me from throwing all my hard work in naming him out the window when I found out what a total SPAZ he was. In fact, he's so strange I just call him 'tard-kun most of the time. Or bozu :P.

Yes, but it's a little stereotypical, no? I much prefer bozu, since it keeps with the spirit of the original name and covers his range of behaviors much more thoroughly than an accusation of idiocy (or retardation for that matter).

our cat is named Bear.
and we call our other cat Bo, but thats only becuase theres was a lot of gender confusion when we got him (he was a stray) cause of all the hair so his name got longer instead of changing...
it started as Princess (cause we thought it was a girl)
then it became Leeroy (cause we thought it was a boy)
then it went back to princess and we got him a pink collar
then it became Leeroy Bojangles
this went on for quite a while and at this point his full name is
Princess Leeroy Bojangles the Third.
we call him Bo. He has a pink collar.
