Post the worst injury visted inflictied upon your flesh (self inflicted does not count, so don't post it).

Worst of all time: 10" stiches on my left foot, broken pinky, still crooked, minor scars on legs/torso (pinhead sized, to about 1/2inch in length).


1.5inch/.25inch splinter in my foot.

i was plugging my tv back in after a storm....i had my hand on a set of shelves, and i was pushing myself back up when my hand slipped and hit something in a box full of old game stuff....im still not sure was i cut it on....my hand hit and i immeadity pulled it back up....it took it a sec to start bleeding....i went to the ER...and the doc took the bandage off and told me to move my finger....i could see to tendon moving... ::) :P...for a while, if i barely touched it against something hard...it would hurt like hell for a few mins....its healed now...i still have a scar...but that will never go away... ::)

well.... ether my appendix scar or the stab wound in my left arm some ass got me with a bowie knife in the top and out the bottom it hurt after i smacked him around with his own knife and lost the combat high....Then it started to hurt REAL BAD!! haha

my worst injuries... um... okay a little typing...

age 1ish: living in Florida, was supposed to be napping, my dad was, all i know is that it involved me jumping off the bed and hitting a table face first, there's a small scar above my nose, barely noticeable now.


5th grade: short story, jungle gym + just rained + tag = broken arm. basically my right arm looked like this

surprisingly no bones broke my skin, which was really weird. spent about 4 hours in the emergency room before they reset my arm, it kinda sucked. got one day off of school, my family is evil.


8th grade: also a short story, killing time after school, there was a Frisbee involved, slid to catch it, didn't see the broken bottle, sliced my right leg open to the bone right below the knee cap, a Y shaped cut at that. bled alot, the right side of the scar is numb now. was back at school later that night to get one of those honor award things, got one day off of school, was back in school on Friday with crutches.

side note: the week before we learned about the layers of the skin in biology, i got to see them. kinda amusing really.




um... thats about it, everything since then has been quite tame by comparison.

I remembered a relatively minor one i had on my right pinky a while back...

I was playing tag or CTF with some kids at a technology camp, and we had to wear these ID tags around our necks for camp, and it was how we would differentiate betwwen teams. They had a metal 'clamp' that the tab was attached to, akin to a wide paperclip

Well, I swung my arm out to tag someone and I caught his tag instead, well at first I thought I had.

Then it kicked in that the part of the paperclip that was at the outermost part had actually embedded itself upto the cuve in my pinky. To make matters worse the kid it was attached to started RUNNING, ripping it open a bit larger, and the clamp iself was pinching the skin, hurt like hell, end result was a quarter inch scar in the outside edge of my right pinky.

age 2ish. Jumpin on "big rocks" then failing on one of them and hitting my mouth first on the rock. Got a scar on my lip to remind me.

age3ish. A cut on my testicle sack when climbing over a sharp fence. Scar to remember that one too.

age3ish. I fell of a "huge" slide while climbing it with one hand. Hit chin first on a sharp rock which made a nice big cut on my chin. 7 stiches. Scar.

2nd grade. Of a ice slide jump and chin first on the ice. Stiches on my chin again..6 i think. Scar.

end of 2nd grade start of 3rd. Down a hill with my brand new bike really fast. The brakes were reverse to the way I was used to. Pressed the front break flew a nice 4 meters forward, landed on my chin again and slid for the next 2 meters on my chin. Stiches...again and a slightly deformed chin. Huge Scar.

5th grade. fell from a tree from 3.5 meters high on my back onto hard sand road. Had some internal bleeding, luckily not too serious.

2 summers ago. I have a pinky story too :D Broke my pinky by hitting it really hard with a hammer. God knows how I managed that. I still can't believe I was able to do so but oh well. It hurt like hell :D

That should cover my worst ones that I remember now.

i have a scar (more like a small indentation) right above my left eye....i think i got it from running into a wooden gate....cant remeber how long ago....i know it was while i was still in elementary school....heres the story:

i was in my friends backyard one day, playing....the back yard is fenced in and the door to get out is spring loaded so it would shut automatically....so they have a cinder block that they use to prop it open a times...

well...i get mad at him for some reason and run home....i pressed the latch down to open the gate, fling it open as hard as i could and start to run out....the gate opens alittle, hits the cinder block, and comes flying back at me, hitting me in the face....i grab the door, opened it enough to get out, and ran home....i didnt need stitches....but i still have a scar.....assuming that's what the scar is from ::)

I somehow avoided bigger injuries, but I did almost lose my eye once.
It was during the winter and I was ice skating. I fell - happens. Unfortunately, one of my friends fell too and he was skating fast. He didn't have enough time to brake. I got hit with the skid of his skates about 0.5cm from my right eyeball. No stitches were needed but man did I freak out.

Oh, and I have a pinky story too. I was playing rugby in 8th grade. I grabbed one of my friends' shirt while trying to stop him. He tried to get loose and my pinky got stuck in his shirt somehow. I swear I could hear a silent crack. Pinky broken. 2 days before a school trip too.

Yeah, I managed to avoid some pretty bad ones too, and I don't scar all that easy.

Most of the scars on my torso were from boiling oil/sparks.

and of course the longer ones were from various cuts.

Only seriously broke a bone once though.

Once when I was playing soccer about 7 years ago, during practice some guy broke his arm.... slid forward on the grass, and some other kid missed the ball and kickedhis arm, breaking it.

Not a compound fracture though, unfortunately this injury stopped the kid from playing ever again. Too bad.

haha I had something close at near the same age hehe well i did a back flip off the couch in the family room and the back of my head landed on well..... a glass table table shattered bla bla bla I ended up with I think 3 steches on the back of my head right were the hair splits front and back right on the tuft there haha I forgot about that one! thanks for the memories Jazz haha :D

Yeah I'm a total nerd. Today my mom's car broke down in the parking lot of Wal-Mart (starter cylinoid is ****ed up... or something...) so, lo and behold, I had to fix it.

Couldn't do jack **** until my mom called her mechanic and he talked me through going under the car and just hitting the damn cylinoid with something hard enough to get it to work (yes, I hit it and it worked).

for better or for worse, i don't have TOO many lasting scars. i have scars on my head from surgery, but those are hidden by my hairline.
oddly enough, my most visible scar is probalby my least series injury: i cut my leg shaving lol. i was young and still new to the shaving leg thing, and i thought "if i push down on the blade harder, this will go faster!" i pressed hard, and i took a chunk of flesh out of my leg. it hurt, but it wasn't terrible. and yet it left a huge scar on my leg. it's more embaressing more than anything.

Yeah it's weird how this happens. That's the one I have on my lip. It wasn't serious cut but left a visible scar ^^
