After comming back for a few days, I am curious by a few new names around. As well as the old veterans.

Around what time (AMV Hell wise 1..2..3...ect) did you become a member to these forums?

What compelled you to stay?

As for me, I think I got here around AMV Hell 3, or midway between 3 and 4. And became a member when I saw some friends watching the older Hells, and I got curious.

I have remained here, because I felt that this was a place were long time anime watchers hung around, and since I had begun watching anime in earnest around the time I joined, I figured this would be a useful spot.

I occasionally pop in to see how things are, and to ask about any reccomendations for anime.

I think that my watching AMVHell 3 in Freshman year was really the start of my life. Ever since then I've been trying to figure out what every single one of those songs are. I'm here because all that is creative in life has yet to culminate in all of us.

i first saw parts of AMV Hell 1 and 3 at Momo-con back in 07....i think....i say parts because i was more interested in playing my friends psp (he had emulators on it :P)....i looked up every now and then (i believe i can fly in 1...the i will always love you in 3...ect.)...

i saw it again somewhere shortly after that....and decided to see if it had a website....and i found the last version of this site (see "the city" in issi's story thread)...i came back every now and then to look at the credits...and to download 4 once it came out...

i didnt actually join until febuary...the reason i joined was so i could play the arcade games at school back before this site was banned at school....i also voted in some of the polls....

i finally started posting in September....my first post was in the video game name game....it took me so long because id just pop in every now and then....and im also kinda shy around new people....i wont talk unless spoken to at first.....but once i get to know you.....i can talk a lot at times :P

i stay because people like vicky keeps it interesting all the times....and i have nothing better to do.... :P

Well, i got here September 21, 2008 at 08:16:02 AM (according to my first post). I'm not sure where that fits into the AMV's. As my first post shows (i'll copy/paste it below) i joined here as abyss is my long term partner, and the forum we meant on and talked on often died. We needed a new place to chat, so I asked abyss where he/she spent the most time, and I ended up in hell (irony?). I stay here as i've made friends here, and friends right now are pretty scarce.

My name's Vicky, or you can call me Odessa. Or other things too, but that gets complicated, and usually other names are deragatory, and...i'm sorry, did i have a point?

Yes, so I'm Vicky. And um, I ramble a bit. Ok, a lot. I am here as my "friend" ( cough ) Abyss has talked me into it. ok, I askled him/her ( i'm told not to reveal his/her gender....don't know why...but ok ) as we hang out a lot in real life, and online. The forum we used to go to together went and died, so we have not had a place to meet up online...until now! so yes, I am joining this wacky little group in hell to be with my squishy one.

About me: I'm insane. clinically, too! I have my own page in the DSM of mental diseaeses. I am 26 years old, and stand an amazing 6'5" tall. ( my family's german, and i'm not even the tallest in my immediate family!) I like to cook, play video games, watch anime ( duh ), read, write, and be a terrible nerd playing DnD. I travel a lot for work, as I kid you not, I'm a model. For some strange reason, people on the internet usually don't belive that...go figure!

Anywho, this is me in a nutshell. I am very open about my life, and will answer any questions ( not regarding abyss's name/gender ) you might have. I hope to get to know your merry group soon!

Things to address: i am now 27, not 26. I mentioned my german descent on here as that's where (i think) i get my ridiculous height. I am 50% italian, 25% irish, and 25% german. With my rapidly declinging health, i am living with my parents and not working anymore.

Random Trivia: Abyss and I were in bed, naked, laughing hysterically as I made this post. GOOD times :)

i think it had to do with the silly-ness of my post, abyss imagining how people would react to it, and, you know, the us "naked in bed" thing. Anything seems funny when you're hopelessly fallen for someone who happens to be in your arms.
