Would anyone be interested in a new series of AMV Hell, created from user-submitted videos, like AMV Hell 4? I was thinking maybe AMV Hell: Version 2 or something. Would anyone be interested in helping?"

its not a don't need, its a we need more time to make the impact all that much more impressive.

remember... absence makes the heart grow fonder... so absence of new hells will make hearts very fond of a new one when it happens.

A basic AMV is pretty easy. You get a video editer, insert a video clip, and insert a sound clip. Voila. The real trick is timing it. Getting the clips to look synced is probably the hardest part. The other part is finding a song that actually fits the anime clip... Now, you can also get all fancy and use hundreds of clips to make collages, like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8Nc7DmcG3k. Or you could do something as simple as on AMV Hell 4, Alphonse Elric to Iron Man by Black Sabbath. That particular AMV might have taken 10 minutes total. I always used iMovie on a Mac G5... So, I can't suggest anything but that. I loved that program.

um, pardon my ignorence, but why can't you all use the AMV Hell name? i hope that's not a touchy subject, but i'm in the dark here.

Because it's the title of the videos made by Zarxrax & SSGWNBTD. They probably wouldn't like it if somebody used the name of their creation.
