Well, it's that time again. Tomorrow i get on a train for Philadelphia, and i will be staying with my Sister for a whole week. I will have the first part of my procedure on Tuesday, and then phase 2 on Thursday after some rest. in theory, this should be a rather mild trip, with no real problems. Still, it's going to hurt like hell for a while.

i will be bringing my lovely new lap top with me on it's first road trip, so this will be it's first test. I don't know how to get internet down there on my own, but hopefully my brother in law Brian can help with that. If all goes well, you won't even notice i'm gone, as i should be able to keep posting no problem.

However, things rarely go that smoothly lol. So in case i do dissapear, this is my "don't panic!" alert. if something goes horribly wrong and something does happen to me, i'm sure abyss will let you all know. not that such a thing can happen, nope nope nope!

Well, I'm going offline to pack for a bit. Then i'm going to shave my legs and "lower extremities." Then likely pack some more. I will likely be at this for a while, as i'm a tad of a fashion whore, and need to coordiante my outfits for a whole week ahead of time.

oh and my voice sounds weird, and the volume may be a little off... personally i'm amazed it worked... oh and photobucket limits video uploads to 100mb so its kinda short...

first off, i'm doing amazingly fine all things considered. i am bruised, swollen, and sore as hell, but i'm already mobile and fuctioning. (well semi functioning; i'm not sure how, but making my oatmeal this morning, i somehow got apple soup and not apple oatmeal).

i was out of it for most of last night, in that hazy "what the hell just hit me" way. i fully intended to come on here to make an update, and i never got around to it. i don't know what i did, as my meory is little foggy; i woke up looking for my dad and aunt carol (who i remember talking too) and they are both in MA while i'm in PA; so, yea. odd. my sister says we spent the night watching TV, including "charmed" and "biggest loser." i say this is a lie as i would not allow myself to watch reality TV, even in a drugged stupor. but seeing as i don't recall, i guess it's possible.

still, this morning i am tired and resting a bit, but i am fine. tomorow i go in for my follow up, and i get to go back to boston on saturday if it all works out.

Allow me now to say this: Thank you all for the well wishes! It really does my heart good to see so many people care about me. It's quite humbling, but i wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you all!

today was not so fun. my follow up turned out to be from 8am to 4pm with more needles and proddings i thought i could ever need in a lifetime. my face looks like i went 20 rounds with not one, but 3 heavyweight boxing champions and a sumo wrestler as well for ****s and giggles. to say i'm in a bit of pain is like saying china has bit of a population problem. i'm also had a full course of bitchiness with a side of cranky.

now im going to go take my pils and go off into adrug induced haze.

i have at least one a month from now until at least august 17th, when i have the big transplant... that's the one where the death rate jumps up on. most of the procedures i'm having done now are minor stuff compared to that, with little (but still possible) chance of things going wrong. there's another surgery that is risky too, but i don't have a date for that yet; likely in July or Spetmeber. that one they have to remove bones and stuff.... not pretty.

of course, i will let people know as things progress :)
