There's going to be a strange occurrence soon: there will no longer be any AMVHell voting on this forum. Once the voting is finally finished, this forum is faced with an interesting conundrum: with no more AMVHells planned and all videos voted on, will people still come here? Now for many regulars on the forum, the answer is "of course yes!". We have formed a kind of club you could say, and talk to each other just because it's fun. But people leave, as we all know. And without the voting, the number of new people will drop drastically. If nothing is changed, these forums will quickly decline.

I don't want this forum to just peter out. I like it too much. I know the Hellmates are creative, so I was wondering if we could think of something to keep this site interesting to new comers. It's just an idea and this thread could drop off the deep end, but I think this is important. Here's to the forums!

it wasn't that great of an idea, it was interesting but most of us don't have time to work on it and I doubt it will draw more people

actually i had a brillant idea, for an anti-depressant, you take the voodoo zombie poison and powder and make it into a two-part pill and sell it as an anti-depressant... wait bad idea, shouldn't market zombification as an anti-depressant...

well, if zarx is not planning on anymore, would it be possible for him to pick a "successor" of sorts, to continue with the AMV Hell name?

or maybe to make an official "AMV Hell Studio." so those deemed good enough could use advertise as an affiliate of AMV Hell, but need to put thier own name on it so as to distuinguise it? so if Issi makes a vid, it would a "AMV Hell Studio production, by Issi." if zarx is willing, he could over see things as a director/supervisor role; such as picking who is good enough to use the name and other things.

The thing is we CAN'T use the AMVHell name. We'd have to get Sgw's approval too, and as far as I know neither of them wants anyone using the name again. That's what Zarx has indicated to me anyway.

honestly I think that's a terrible idea, why is it that people don't realize that you should end things before they start to suck: We've had 4 good amv hells while we could work on more projects we should drop the name

Yeah, another AMV mix thing COULD be good... but then it wouldn't exactly be the only one out there nor would it have a real place on this forum. Ugh, here I am shooting down ideas :P.

That's something I was thinking of. I had something like that on the old site (well, i at least had a LIST of other vids), but I maintained the list myself so not much happened with it.

Another thing I was thinking is I would like users to be able to post clips in their profiles or something. Like, "here, check out this little clip I just made". There's no need to necessarily submit it into some large project, people could just release single clips if they wanted. It would be sorta like ytmnd or something.
