Some people have been using excessively annoying signatures on their posts, so I think it's time to lay down a few rules. I hesitate to make any specific rules like "you can have one image that is smaller than 600x300 and less than 100kb and no more than 2 links" because honestly I think it's a bit silly, and there will always be people who want to skirt the rules ever so slightly.

However, when it comes down to it, your forum signature is not your myspace. A forum is a place for people to communicate, and forum signatures should not get in the way of that. No one wants to see a full screen image at the bottom of all of your posts, and no one wants to see 10 different animations playing at the same time. Please try to remain considerate of others with your signatures.

If anyone has a signature that is too annoying, then you will be asked to modify it. Repeated failure to comply may result in having your signature removed permanently.

Suggestions:
- The smaller the better
- Animated images tend to have a large filesize, and while hardly anyone still uses dialup in this day and age, I would discourage the use of any animated images that have a large filesize. Anything more than a couple hundred KB is too big.

No Vicky, that's what you did you need to know when something is a fight to have and when it's not, like me saying Nick should stop spamming all the time, he should: I wasn't provoking him and this whole thing could've been avoided if you had even an inkling of intelligence. ok so that last bit was a bit far but I really think you need to stop and reexamine things you might get some insight which you so desperately need: if anyone needs to grow up it's you.

actually it happened when Zarx changed the site last time, the old site shrunk his avatar to a reasonable size but the new site allowed its full size(I don't know how it happened but that has to be the reason since it was normal before the switch when he stopped posting so no one really noticed until he came back since all his posts were buried)
