ahhh thats right, school :) having to go through school finals AND have university exams? tough ****, in Lithuania those two are merged (thankfully) which ones are you having (like maths, finnish and what else?)

Maths, Higher Lvl Finnish, HLvl Physics, HLvl English, Chemistry and History. I'm in the IB-system. Physics and maths being the most painful from these...so much to study, so little time....

ahh, the Internation Bachelory or whats it called. My few younger friends attend that... but seriously, they just slack about there. Guess tahts Lithuania for you :D what are you going to study with those exams anyway? seems to me like over-the-top wide selection. It's like you could go with both the realistic (dont know the real term though for this one, things like physics and engineering fall into this) AND humanitarian studies with those... quite unnecessary. All i took was Lithuanian, English, History and Maths all National level... well, thats the highest one we get here (took maths just to be safe if i wouldnt get the place where i wanted to study :D actually scored 72% in maths, lol others were 100, so probably neednt have worried)

Well we have to choose total of atleast 6 subjects that we study and do our finals on. I'm going to study architecture with this selection :D We have to choose Finnish, English, Maths, a science (biology, physics, chemistry), and humanitarian (History, Psychology, Philosophy) and also if you want Visual arts :D

Martian successor Nadesico (26 episode, I've seen as far as ep.4):
Aliens have conquered Mars and are attacking Earth. A former mecha-pilot and mars inhabitant boards an independend space battleship fighting the aliens at mars as a cook (which he prefer to being mecha pilot). The captain is his childhood friend who thinks they are in love. He boarded it to try finding out, how his parents died and how he came to Earth - he sees the captain only as a childhood friend.

They leave Earth ahead of plan due to military desires to take over the battleship for Earths defence. They thus leave with only one mecha pilot plus the protagonist. That pilot is a HUGE fan of a very old mecha anime - one of the protagonists few childhood memories, so he's sucked in too - and can't really separate it from reality. After leaving Earth, they are reinforced by three other mecha-pilots with rather caricatured personalities, superserious, overeager and affected respectively.


Millennium Actress (2 hour feature):
A journalist comes to a desolate mansion to interview an old film diva, of whom he is a great fan, about her life and career.
As the interview progresses, the interviewing, her life, her film career and his experiences at the same filming sets are flowing into into each other, with the journalist and his photographer swapping in and out of the films, taking up various roles and with a certain key appearing once and again.
