though I can see on your profile all the other abridged series you're working on and I have to say, too much; lot's of those don't even need to be abridged: you're trying just a bit too hard

I've seen in Yu-gi-oh and Berserk Abridged.

I think Yu-gi-oh is funny, but it started losing me about episode 30 or so. I think it just kinda jumped shark in my opinion. Still funny, just not as funny as it used to be.

I really liked Berserk, because not only did he complete his series, but he went back and did commentary for each episode. I really enjoyed him talking about inside jokes, what worked, what didn't and what he learned from the experience. The same guy went on to do Gantz: Abridged (complete) and Escaflowne: Abridged (Work in Progress)

i love yugioh abridged and dbz abridged! also, i prefer the version of naruto abridged done by littlekuriboh (creator of yugioh abridged), and yuyu hakusho & berserk abridged come close behind that.

i've actually seen a good Pokemon: Abridged. I can't remember who does it, but every now and then, they review an odd pokemon (i've seen them do slowbro and eevee before). If that rings a bell to anyone, let me know.

I've always liked the Yu-Gi-Oh abridged series, and when I started watching the TFS DBZ Abridged I was immediately hooked.
I've been toying with the idea of starting an abridged series but I wouldn't have the time, patience or other voice actors to pull it off...

I haven't really watched many Abridged versions of animes at all, but a decent pair that I haven't seen recommended on this thread is ScooneySquad7's take on the Gunsmith Cats OAV. As well as dubbing over the show with their jokes, they follow the original plot of the show fairly closely, too:

I have issues with the abrigded series craze. There are many abrigded series with no more than twenty being decent. Though I did expect this from the internet, as the internet is full of hipsters who want nothing more than to fit in with the craze, which leads to over half of the abrigded series to be uninspired crap. I'm not saying I don't like the abrigded series stuff, it is just the stuff made by two thirteen year olds with horrible microphones. I would also like to state that the abridged series is slowly dying because of companies like 4kids. The one who started the craze, Littlekuriboh, has already been forced to end his abridged series, though I'm not sure if he is serious.

I watched Yu-gi-oh abridged. Avatar the abridged series is pretty good, but the guy stopped making them. I would love to make my own, but I have not the computer, the humor, or the the voice (no matter how far I throw my voice it always have the same timbre)

The mics don't change at all, really. System to system, generation to generation-hell, the Guitar Hero and Rock Band mics are even pretty much the same :P

And the quality isn't the best, but hell, it works. Be careful of p's and t's, though, with popping and whatnot. xP
