Psh, it's quite obvious. It's an alternate universe where the characters' genders are reversed, and these people from hell like a certain "pairing," where one character is matched with another. The thing is, so far, from what I've seen, none of the relative sexual preferences have been changed. If a character liked the opposite sex, they now like the opposite sex. If they demonstrated homosexual tendencies.. they still do.
Koizumi there kinda works as a girl, I don't know. I guess everyone is better as a girl?
But why does male Haruhi still wear a hairband?
