asus makes good mobos. but it is sad about dialup. i have a 20MB connection that im geting for free ( thought i did have to pay my first month, i just kinda tricked the payment bot comcast used into thinking that my internet is not active when it is.) but at the cost of reliability. it often cuts out for a few miliseconds (just enough to kick you out of WoW.) and every once in a while it will got down for and hr or 2.

I don't see the need in HDMI/DVI inputs on "HD" monitors. Almost any monitor can display 720p and most modern monitors can display in 1080p, also known as full HD. this is with a simple VGA cable, which know, that blue cable that you used with your old computer? Yeah, that can carry HD signals. Most video cards can support HD as well, so the only reason you need a high-end card is for gaming and resolution purposes.

meh
don't care about my pc specs anymore, since it's already good enough to play the games i wanna play :P
last time i spent money on something, it was a 32" hdtv and a dvi-hdmi cable...add HD anime and movies to that and i'm pretty satisfied ^^

Hey, you seen K-On! yet? Yes, topic derailment, but it is incredibly good.

I think that between me and a couple other people we've successfully hijacked most topics to talk about K-ON! for a while
