Well I like to work on AMVs, who doesn't. But I'm having trouble finding any form of software that allows me to overlay Audio Visualizations on top of the video. Can anyone help on that.

What program(s) are you using? If it's windows movie maker the only thing you can do is mute the original audio and put the one you want to overlay it with in it.

I'm currently using Vegas. I got it couple days ago from a group of people who barely use it, content with more the adobe software for there macs, they let me use theres. I do favors for them all the time, I help them fix there network and stuff, macs #1 network crasher. I also use many different software thats free (minus fraps), but they are all good. What I did originally is recorded the Visualization in VLC which sort of lacks many different ones that wmp has, but wmp will not allow recording aswell as the software for making your own. I'll add a link as soon as I upload it and you can tell me what I can do.

Okay I use Vegas 7.0b so I should be able to help you. By the description above I'm assuming you want to place the audio layer above the video layer. When you put the video file in the time line it should look like this.
(Default settings)
_________
Video track | (Video peeks)
Audio track | (Audio peeks)
All you need to do is click the audio track area, click and drag it above the video track, and it should look something like this
_________
Audio track | (Audio peeks)
Video track | (Video peeks)
I don't know if peeks is the word to use but it's just in my vocabulary to use it. I hope that helps. Any other questions in Vegas I may able to help outs.

Well is a part of Lambda equation, in other terms wavelength, amplitude and so on. Is also the symbol for the game half-life which is also use to determine the half life in bones which is based on radio-active isotopes, interesting isn't it.
Lower-case letter ?
Lower-case lambda
Lower-case lambda
* A non-SI unit of measure of volume (symbol ?) equal to one microlitre (1 ?L) or one cubic millimetre (1 mm?). This now-rare use is deprecated.
* The wavelength of a wave in physics
* The radioactive decay constant (Connected to Half-life of a radioactive isotope in physics)
* The lambda phage virus in biology
* In computer science, the empty string, though different writers use a variety of other symbols for the empty string as well, including the lower case Greek letter epsilon.
* Eigenvalues in linear algebra
* Goodman & Kruskal's lambda is a statistic that gives the proportional reduction in error when one variable's values are used to predict the values of another variable.
* Function expressions in lambda calculus and, by extension, some programming languages
* Said to signify unity under oppression, explaining its use in the video game Half-Life
* stoichiometric air to fuel ratio oxygen sensor in an internal combustion engine's exhaust gas
* A Japanese rocket type, Lambda (rocket)
* The failure rate in hours (also the reciprocal of MTBF) in reliability theory.
* In criminology, the individual offending frequency.
* LGBT symbol

meh, my school doesn't have the proper codecs to run the video. I'll download it when I get the chance at my house :roll:

Alright, thanks so far for your support. VLC on a thumb drive you don't known when you might need it.
By the way the effect I'm after is in there but lacks the thing I'm looking for a different visualization would be nice. Its a completely different amv with and without it.
Don't forget to look at mouth movements to the song, not all sync, but plenty do.
