Yeah.
It was charming, to be sure.
Acually, I will be very happy if this is his last film. I think his narritives have been dropping in quality lately. I could sense the point in the film where the end was practically telegraphed, if you will.
That said, I was still sucked in by the boundless imagination of Hayao Miyazaki. I just don't think he could last forever on fairy tales.
Two things we've learned from Studio Ghibli's last projects:
Don't let Gozo Miyazaki direct a film and don't leave the younger siblings of Cyrus and Jonas together in a room with a pen, paper and a microphone. You somehow get the English version of the Ending theme.

really, I disagree since the 3 things he did before Ponyo were, Howl's moving castle, Spirited Away and Mononoke Hime and they were all better than more than few of the films that came before them
