For those of you who frequent the forums, you probably know what I'm talking about. Personally, I think it defeats the purpose of coming here to have fun. Now, I'm all for blowing off steam, but when it escalates to a never-ending cycle of tension between people that's really none of our business to begin with, that's when it gets out of hand.

Guys, whether you agree or disagree, I highly encourage you to share your thoughts on the matter.

What about a debate forum? So that people only go there if they want to see/participate in drama, and if possible, and unnecessary drama will be moved there. If it can't be moved (or, better yet, even if it can be/is), then a warning will be issued to all offenders. Repeat offenses will result in a temporary (3/5 day?) ban on posting for that person.
And, while trying to be as unbiased as possible, it seems like abys is causing the strife between himself and Odessa. He's pleasant, even fun to have here, until Odessa posts. Then he starts criticizing her and just trying to make a scene, if I could say that. Odessa seems to be trying to keep things civil but at the same time escalates things to the "breaking point". May I suggest maybe some time apart, as in not posting in the same thread as the other? And if you absolutely have to, then make no mention of the other person. Let's see how that works out.

i created a debate forum and drug it back to life a couple of time mainly for political debates but if you want to re tool it for your own personal usage go ahead

I wasn't even online for the past week, how could I have had a hand in it, aside from not being there to stop it? I'm trying to keep the peace here. And ask almost anyone here, they'll agree that you're not the same person when Odessa's around. You become the ass that you were months ago. Let's try to change that so that you're always the abys we're used to. And even if it is Odessa that's causing the strife instead of you, the "time apart" idea would still work.
She seems to want to be friends, JUST friends, and you're pushing her away, finding faults with everything about her. She's getting us to understand what she's been going through, and you told her to kill herself so she wouldn't have to endure it anymore.

Trust me, I know what this looks like. It's happening between two of my friends right now. The female in my situation is the male's ex, but he broke up with her because she's annoying and can be mean at times. She now just wants to be friends with him, but he won't have any of it because he hates her completely. Her efforts are futile, but she keeps trying because she truly wants to be his friend, yet nothing more.

That part of my statement was for the FCC/Christian (or whatever) nut jobs that think everything even "Blowjob" must be censored... They could keep the main reproductive parts censored and give us back the rest of our shows, movies, and whatever else filters out onto the Boobtube.

Getting back on topic, here's an idea: If someone insists on duking it out on the forum in response to being badmouthed, I will gladly delete all the comments contributing to the conflict. This way it faciliates taking the conflict to private messaging (if it must continue), and fewer people will have to know there was a conflict to begin with. How's that sound?

As for banning someone from the forum (temporarily or permanently), I will only do so as a last resort.
