Hey guys, just a quick question. I downloaded AMV Hell from about every source I could find, hoping to find a format that worked, but every time I try and play it through my xbox, it tells me it's not supported. (I know what this means, so we can skip that part :)) 1-3 worked and did not need any conversion, so I was wondering if anyone else likes to watch their AMV Hell on the big screen like I do and has had to convert their AMV Hell 4. I used some supposedly outdated converter (encoder360) for the minis, and it worked just fine, but when I tried it on 4, the sound encoding was drastically sped up compared to the video. Has anyone had any luck encoding large files like this (not that I even know that's the problem) with another program, or know of a way I can get a copy of AMV Hell 4 without having to do any encoding at all?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me :)

That's odd.... it works with mine. Have you tried it in avi?

I'll give videora a shot, thanks :)
I did try it in .avi, I thought it would solve the problem, but alas ; ; I downloaded from animemusicvideos.org specifically so could ensure it was .avi as well.

I love watching AMV Hell on my TV, I currently have AMV Hell 0, AMV Hell Divided by 0 and AMV Hell Championship Edition on DVD, but the problem I am having right now is finding a good (FREE) Video converting program for my laptop because all the AMV Minis are in MP4 format and my dvd creator does not support MP4s plus the ones I have found don't work right and one of them won't let me uninstall it and when I try to uninstall it using the Uninstall/change option it does not appear on the list which almost caused me to lose it and go insane the first time I found that out. Is there any good video converting programs out there?

Format Factory is a decent all around media converter.

If connected to a computer
Xbox 360: Using WMC you can play all sorts of files on your xbox. You have to sync it with WMC, and then you get some basic instructions to follow to get it all working. WMC comes on vista and 7, if running XP getting service pack 3 will allow you to use it.
PS3: Download ps3mediaserver, run the program. Basically it, just have the ps3 on when doing it.

i just checked my hosting. the video is currently not up. but i am encoding 3 versions of it right now, 1 360, 1 ps3, and 1 psp. i figure those will be the most sought after. if you need on of these versions please pm me and i will upload it and send you the link. ^_^

Well you could always get TVersity to transcode and stream videos and music to you 360 from a PC that way you have all your movies an no longer need to encode.
