I've played and beaten all the Final Fantasy games worth playing, I steer anyone away from VIII IX X2 XI and XII and V was kind of bland though maybe that's just because IV and VI were the two best in the series

interesting theory. kinda reminds me of another theory that Ultimecia is Rinoa based off of a scene at the end where Rinoa turns in to Ultimecia or something. honestly this theory seems more likely than the Rinoa thing though. i dont really think Squaresoft would say he died there, and honestly, from what i know about the game i dont think so either, however it probably makes for a better story then what it actually is.
