Anybody read any good ones? Some i've read are...

True remembrance - This gem is free and relatively short but sweet while it last so check it out because the story is quite intriguing.

Shuffle - Eh...It's all right. Think i preferred the anime adaption though. Had a great op for the VN too. Just felt...dirty for playing a straight up dating sim for the first time. (Could have done without the sex scenes entirely)

Bible Black - Holy ****! This is so awesome. One of the endings (5) was the most kickass of any VN i've ever played. I wish the hentai used it instead of what it did.

Clannad - God damn this is long...Too damn long...and you have to play the game and a very specific order of endings to see EVERYTHING! Also, i didn't find it nearly as sad as the anime though that may be because i saw the latter prior.

Narcissu - Again, free, short, and fun (depressing) while it last.

And finally...

Kana Little Sister - ...Dear god. I still feel like this game left me in a depressed state for at least 6 months after playing it. It's even worse because you think it's just some wincest hentai so you can have your "fun" and be done with it but NO! It's like some messed up conspiracy to make you cry. I'm DEAD serious here. Don't play this to fap because it will effectively kill whatever sex drive (and faith in god) you have for quite awhile.

Besides that, i can't recommend this one enough.

I once had an H-game called "True Love" I think it was what some might call a visual novel. It had a lot of RPG elements incorporated in it and the story, while not great, didn't suck. I remember it being really funny. There's also a guide to getting all the pictures in one go-through, if you're into that sort of thing.

It was really old, and I think I had to download a DOS emulator to play it, or it might have been another game?

Demonbane (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demonbane) is pretty awesome. It starts out a bit slow, but **** gets real during the second half. If you don't like the fights or the story(which sodomized the writting of H.P. Lovecraft more than August Derleth did.), then you'll at least get loli-necronomicon. Now if you don't like that, then at least you'll have an answer to every powerlevel thread/argument ever.

Muv-Luv (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muv-Luv) is also a good one. It starts out like a Clannad kind of VN, but once you obtain the endings for both of the main girls, then you get a new story. The new story, Muv-Luv: Unlimited, is pretty cool. It's like Gundam meets Neon Genesis Evangelion (Without the depressed protagonist). It was pretty cool, filled with great mech design.Everybody gets ****ing mauled.

According to Torotoro, the game will be on sale sometime in December. That means that we'll probably get it translated around March.
