I have a question- what's the best\easiest program to use for editing videos, BESIDES Windows Movie Maker?

Also, IN Movie Maker, is there a way to change the Aspect Ratio?

Sony Vegas Studio Platinum 9.0 is relatively affordable compared to most programs - I bought my copy for around ?60; other programs, particularly in the Adobe range, can cost hundreds of pounds/dollars. Its use is quite widespread, so it is easy to get hold of support information. You can also download a free month-long trial version to test it - the demo has full functionality and doesn't leave watermarks on your video.

go with Sony vegas; I use adobe premiere and I admit that vegas is superior but the handling for adobe is more easy to handle for me

Mac Mini came with iMovie 06, and I used that ever since.

I was thinking on asking for a good free editor for Mac, but I'll likely stick with iMovie at my workplace.

i used WMM before and sony vegas is much better(though it lacks a few simple tools) but only way to get it for free is the way i got it which was a pain in the ass to do, i couldnt possibly remember all the steps so you would have to find someone else, and contact Ranma to see about getting graphic effects for it
