Yeah, I think too they're complete bull****. One of the main reasons is that youre writing what you would do instead what you will actually do in that situation. For example if a test asks "What would you do if you were attacked by a ninjas? a) run b) play dead c) kick their asses" , you would choose c) of course.
Real life tests like Survival may actually tell something about yours personality. But those psychology/IQ tests are waste of time.

Abyss, you're going beyond the point where you're just the forum crank, which was always fine in everyone's book, to actually breaking implicit rules of the forum (just like you always bitch at other people for doing). Specifically, the most important rule you just broke was posting critically in a random rants thread. Though Random Rants did have serious linear discussions and even arguments, they were breaks from the mostly lateral flow of postings. There were never repeated attempts to shoot down every bit of random silliness that is inherent in the thread. Long story short, let it pass Abyss. If you don't like it, ignore it. That's the beauty of a forum as opposed to a chat or IRC, you can do that. So please, if you want to do this sort of thing, start a "random bitchings" thread. The internet is in the vast majority not Serious Business, so don't bother trying to enforce rule of law on it. This might as well go for you too, acutekat, especially when it comes to the count to a million thread.

Revived his golden graduation certificate, he left with his head held high.

"Outside" kinda works like Ragnarok Online.
The only difference is the level cap which can be increased and decreased through various actions while playing. There're also waaaay more jobs.

After you hit around lvl 99 rebirth becomes avaible and you're back to base & job lvl 1.
At that time you also receive a skill and stat bonus and this can be done infinite times until you're reborn with demigodlike abilites, something rarely achieved by human beings. (jesus must've been a(mv) hell of a hardcore gamer)

"Outside" also uses the good & evil concept, but with a more realistc approach.
Doing good things isn't always rewarded with items or exp and doing bad things (like killing other players) is often followed by severe punishment.

Although you gain some kind of exp by farming and quests it's still advised to choose one of the several hundred jobs and lvl up the hard way.
Because of this unique mindset of the people who created "Outside", as well as those who're playing it, it isn't a game for everyone and many quit before rebirth becomes available to them.

Some curious things about "Outside" are that NOBODY ever had access to the interface, the game engine or the main server settings. Also nobody has been able to connect the game masters.
Many go as far to doubt the existence of the game masters.

Anyone here ever seen the movie "Hook", starring Robin Williams? Its essentially a sequel/follow-up to the classic "Peter Pan". Now in the movie, they show that Peter has left Never Land to do what everyone wanted him to do...grow up. So we see him running rampant throughout his house, busy tying his tie while talking to one of his coworkers over the phone. His kids are straight up ignored and its obvious Peter is now a workaholic. All work and no play make Jack a dull boy as they say, and for a guy who was essentially the embodiment of youthful energy and boyish innocence his adult self is very disquieting. Its not obvious he's not happy. In fact, he has no memory of his life in Never Land. Work is all that's important to him.
As a young man who seeks employment, I find it all rather scary. To work till you no longer have any other voluntary needs. To ignore your young children and friends just as easily as dismissing childish games. What frightens me most about it is that I may not have a choice, its the way society functions; not everybody gets a free ride.
