Well it seems like a good idea for a thread (at least I think so) and I just had one of the strangest ones in my life, so I'm typing right in the morning while I still have the image in my head.

I don't remember most of the details, but I were in a family with a strange jewish last name, and we were searching for something while there was a (dying) little dog in the other room surrounded by some people. I surely knew that we were looking for some sort of a tablet to spill the dog's blood on it.
Suddenly the ground started shaking, and I rushed to the window and the sky was black, missiles coming. I freaked out, as it was sure a little apocalypse coming for my ass, so I dashed out and started avoiding the missiles (as they were kinda little but still deadly) there were some of the family members so I had to watch them too, overall it was frightening like hell. Suddenly I saw a burning creature that looked more like an infernal ent and that's the time to get serious, thought I.

Then (here goes the fun) I noticed a strangely twisted tree trunk shaped like a few suffering ghosts holding hands, encrusted with jewels and stuff. I pressed my hand towards it and said something like "give me the power of my family" That's when I noticed a small point counter in the right corner (of the screen? idk) every time I pressed my hand, the counter went down (but then up again for no reason) so I thought if I were to survive, I had to keep the points up. So I went back and saw a strange looking black women on the bench (I thought she was a succubus or smth like that), I pressed my hand to a small symbol an my chest for a while and then gave her a nice punch in the face. She fell off the bench right into a small gate in the floor leading to an abyss I suppose. I was like WOW but still scared like hell. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember what my second ability was, but I know it was awesome =/

I somehow dealt with the ent and some other spawns of apocalypse (mostly with the gate thing). I went on to find my friend who apparently had some abilities too. So we went to the playground and met some wyrm-looking monster that was ****ing terrific (seriously, I wasn't that scared in a dream in a while) but we dealt with it, combining our powers (i don't remember how though). The we saw a message saying smth like "If you'd like to become a team, press middle fingers" and we literally pressed middle fingers (!). I somehow got a new phone with GPS and the targets database. The next target was just a bold tough looking guy (a boxer I suppose) but who knew what he was able to do. I asked my friend what powers he had and he literally said - "Let's see... oh, there's one - tear someone in half with a trunk" And I was like "Holy ****! That sounds awesome! That's what you should use".

So there was a lot of people around (I know that doesn't really make sense) and there was that guy who was kinda friendly to others. I was strolling up and down choosing the right moment, and he gave me a strong stare. Then he stood up and moved somewhere. I gave a hint to my friend and he followed him. When the timing was perfect I kinda said "go" and and my friend unleashed his powerful tongue towards the guy (yeah, I'm very disappointed it wasn't a trunk =/ ). In the blink of an eye the guy blocked it with his arm and stabbed my friend with a knife in the chest (no idea how he pulled that out). Panicking, I grabbed his arm. He tripped and I opened a gate below, but he freaking refused to go down there. I randomly pressed a sign on my chest and then touched him. A sudden roar escaped his throat when he started shaking in convulsion. I guess it was something like an air flow passing through his body, so he lost the ability to fight back and fell into the abyss. That's when I, relieved, woke up.

A dream thread isn't a very original idea, but there still fun, dreams can often lead to original works of art or literature, The original Frankenstein was based of a dream the author had... anyways I actually remember a lot of my dreams in vivid details.


Here are two of my zombie based dreams.

In this first dream Me and three of my friends, who for convent sake will be referred to as A, B and C. We where in some under water facility, looking around it seemed like an underwater oil rig. I have no idea why we where there, but apparently the oil they where drilling also had some bacteria or virus in it that caused most all the employees to turn into zombies, before we new it the place was swarming with zombies

Unfortunately there where no real weapons to use, to protect our self from them. C decided to sacrifice himself to through us a fire ax. a endeavor that was in vain because after that, the ax was never seen again. me and the remaining survivors continue running to the bottom of the rig since there's is apparently a submarine there that we can use to make an escape.

Eventually we get to the last room before the submarine, which appears to be an auditorium where Alien ant farm, or as it would be now, Zombie ant farm was playing. and despite being infected with the zombie epidemic, was still playing there cover of Micheal Jackson's Smooth Criminal. and, apparently the room is full of zombies rocking out

afraid of being masticated we decide the best option to get past the zombies is to just walk like the making the occasional grunt while crossing the room. more surprising is that the plan actually works, we make it across with no problem, and yet here we learn that dream version of A is a complete idiot when he locks himself in the auditorium with the zombies to distract the zombies that would have been none the wiser otherwise. so now it's just me and B, but we have arrived at the submarine. the method for the crew to escape in case of an emergency, a small one person pod programed to go the surface, that's it. Well A decides to push me in the escape pod, and launching it. for reasons that are never explained.

The second one didn't have much detail all it really was I was in the world of Dragon Ball, with only the ability to fly, and a whole world filled with zombies. All I was doing was flying around looking for a place to hide for the night.


Since I normally go to bed with the radio playing, there are a lot of times when the songs make it into my dream

here's one started out on a train.. with various characters from Zach Bell and Shanmen King (weird since at the time I've only seen a couple of episodes of Zach bell and only an add or two for Shanmen King. I did later go on to watch more of Zach bell, but go annoyed with how just about every character was a stereotype with legs, I'm surprised they didn't give Magumi a drug and sex addiction).

anyways one of the passengers starts to sing "To every broken heart in here" he then gets up and continues to sing " love was a part to but now it's disapeered" the dream showed him walking to the center of the train car while singing, once he get's to the center, and the first choir chimes in, every one on the train starts singing. (if you haven't guessed, the song was the lostprophets Last Train home). the rest of the song is the characters singing an doing a well choreographed dance. when they get to the end, every one returns to there seat (in the song this is where they start yelling to never fall in love) and the train car actually opens up as hydrolics lift the passengers while fire words are shot from the side of the train (talk about contrast between the dream and the song) as the song comes to an end the train car returns to normal as things fade to black....
that however is not the end of the dream, after that there was a conversation between Kyo and Magumi.

here's another instance that combined anime with music, this one All I remember is one part I was getting guitar lessons from Haruhi Suzumiya in a bunny costume. she plays a little from Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars, but instead of I don't quite know how to say, in the dream the song went like I don't quite know how to play. For some reason my subconscious decided that the dream needed a rabbit, in comes Frank. (and chances only three of you thought of the right frank). that's all there was to that one.

It's been a while since I had a dream that i actually remembered. But this one I had about a month ago:

I dont remember too much, but it mixed Higurashi no Naku Koro ni with Final Destination. Apparently, I saved the gang from the gas leak that kills everyone in Hinamizawa, and like Final Destination, death started occuring. the only death i recur from the dream was a lawnmower runs over a fork, shoots out and nails Rena in the eye, killing her (its ironic b/c Rena is my favorite Higurashi girl, as well as one of my favorite anime girls). and that's when i woke up. Hard to believe thats the only anime dream i remember (i know i have had more, but no more that i remember lol).

i had a weird dream recently i had a daughter that was the spitting image of my ex we only dated for about 6 months before she dumped me but this girl was alot like yotsuba. but hits kid was actualy the daughter of my ex's kid don't know why she was me we bumped in to my sister and this girl asked if she'd being dressing up for halloween and told no she won't be cause she's boring and my sister said thats rich coming from some who owns an xbox and psp go.

Like once, I was dreaming that I was talking to this hot chick and she just randomly changed into a hispanic guy! And the only reason I was surprised at that moment was because the drink I was buying was totally overpriced!

Then, there was another dream where this evil little dead ghost girl had killed my buddy, Little Timmy (I specifically remember his name was Little Timmy). So then she wanted to put her soul in his body and I was just thinking. "Ok, that makes sense." I even helped her do it!

I once had a dream that I was playing GoW, there where some strange things, like Miroku (Inuyasha) was a playable character and Kratos wearing a cowboy hat, stranger still in the dream the game I was Playing had a good story with great writing and gameplay that felt similar to previous titles but added in enough new stuff to make the game feel fresh and new... an enjoyable GoW game, like that would ever happen.

anyways a more recent dream started out with me my brother, and two strange girls cleaning a house. The house looked as though t was built to be seem decrepid the building had no power and why we where cleaning it I have no idea the two girls whee completely unknown. There was some one instructing but again there was no defining details about this person. Soon the two girls vanished, but we really didn't care much. Later we decided to turn in for the night. In my room I saw a silhouette of what looked like a small animal run into the closet, I went to investigate only to have the anime jump out at. It was a

It also had the face of the of the two girls (another thing that strange tjat i would know because I never got a clear look at there faces) and was able to speak. my reaction was actually pretty calm just saying "huh, a catgirl" there I was told that where where being made to work against our will. At this point the dream skipped ahead, apparently I was able to escape but the dream implied that my brother and the two girls where dead. The rest of the dream was me just looking for information about the events.

ok. i had strange dream last night.

my dad and i were sitting in the living room and he had a shotgun. it was the middle of the night. we'd been hearing some strange noises around the house so we for some reason were guarding the front door. i had music on up in my room that was really loud. since people were trying to sleep i went up stairs by myself to turn it down. i walked into my room. a desk with my computer on it was to my right and my bed was on the left. i turned to the right to lower the music volume (although it was completely silent. you know how stuff like that happens in dreams and you don't even notice it?) it was totally silent when i heard this low groan (spooky at hell) to my left. thinking it was in the room below me, i turned to my left. sitting on my bed, a foot away from me, was a child sized Bigfoot with a pair of blue pajamas on (lol, it's hilarious now, but scary as **** at the time) i just let out this "ah" as my heart practically jumped out of my chest. a second later my dad came running into the room, waving his shotgun and screaming. I woke up at that moment. i was so freaked out by it that i couldn't even go back to sleep. like i said, really funny to think about now, but it spooked me at the time.

Lol that reminds me of one of the many "oh hey, I'm already dead" or "afterlife" dreams. I wanted to prove that I was actually in the afterlife and couldn't die again, so I looked up and asked God to replace all the blood in my veins with air (bubbles of air in your blood can kill you, although there's usually a good chance it will be absorbed into the blood or wherever before it actually kills you. I learned this lovely tidbit in combat lifesaver training lol). Instantly I felt what I imagined to be the sensation of it and it was exhilarating lol. I actually woke up kind of disappointed that it hadn't been real lol

What's funny is, just last night I had a dream RB was in my area and asked if he could stay at my place for a few days. I've actually had a few dreams involving members from Hell. It turns out, if I've seen your IRL photo, there's more of a chance of you might show up in a dream of mine.

Not really, I communicate with most of you daily, in one way or another.' I wouldn't think it strange, but expected for someone takes a more physical presence. Now if I were sitting at the computer for a whole dream, I might find that more odd.

But their mostly uninteresting, and don't go any beyond the persons appearance.

I just woke up from a nap not too long ago. I remember dreaming that i was walking around my home, i found my mother dead on the ground, her head was smashed open, blood was everywhere. My brother was in his room acting very strange, which disturbed me, I went downstairs and my cats were stuck in the microwave, not dead, but they were panicking and crying, and i was trying to get them out as best as i could but i couldn't, i remember crying for them and crying mourning my mothers death. My brother came down and started yelling at me and starting saying the "Money was coming" and i was like "What money?! I don't care!" lol And then i remember my mom somehow being there too and she was complaining about dirty dishes.

Took a short nap earlier, dream't that I was fighting with this girl, She was going on about something really retarded about how her hair got messed up or her cell phone or something, Can't remember lol D< I grabbed that bitches hair, remember kicking her to the ground and I think i kicked all her teeth out, in my dream while walking away she was laying in a pool of blood. Anyone ever attempt lucid dreaming?
I remember when I was younger and first heard about the idea, I tried. Went to sleep that night and was actually successful to an extent. I remember in my dream I was standing in my living room and thought "This is a dream, I can do anything, I can even fly!". So I start trying to float, but instead of flying like superman my mouth and cheeks turn huge like a balloon and that becomes my method of slowly floating up. I think "Not what I was expecting, but hey I'm flying!(kinda)". As I start floating up, I pretty much forget I'm dreaming and lose control. Next thing I know I'm fighting in the martial arts championship tournament as young Goku. Don't remember much after that.

I had this dream last night where i opened my door to the house and two cops came in saying i was under arrest. At this point, i realize i'm dreaming and literally freeze frame my own nightmare. Trying not to get too excited and wake myself up,i concentrate on a piece of furniture. I then turn my head and the shape/position of it has drastically changed. I did this because i read somewhere (E how i think) that a good way to tell if you're dreaming or not is to focus on one "tangible" thing for a moment, look away from it, and look at it again. Dreams are rather amazing, but are pretty much unstable which is probably why most of our dreams our so....disjointed and we can rarely give the whole story of what happened in one.

Night of 6/25/2013 - Tongue in cheek non sequitur about tongue in cheek non sequiturs involving zombies being shown at the end of a fake commercial for cold medicine, with a "25 days later" message attached, implying that this is how sick you'd get without cold medicine.. It does actually work better when you're high, but it's very possible to do it without being high at all.
