As some of you have probably heard by now, Satoshi Kon, one of the greatest writers, directors and animators ever to produce an animated film has died of cancer. It is unknown whether the studio he was making his last film with will finish the project but it seems likely. We shall all miss one of the men who made anime so great. Rest In Peace, Satoshi Kon

you've probably seen one of them: Paranoia Agent. He also made, Millennium Actress, Paprika, Perfect Blue and Tokyo Godfathers

That came as quite a shock to me, though apparently he and his wife knew about his diagnosis for quite some time. Rest in peace, Mr. Kon.
