I am thinking of whether i should start watching bleach or not. I've heard it's really good and it's like the most popular anime in the world but there is like 1000 billion episodes and the plot confuses me. Should i?

also there only about 300 epsiodes
just wondering which part of the plot are finding confusing?

I would recommend you to watch couple of first episodes yourself and then see if you should continue watching it or should drop it.

Watch till the end of the SS Arc, (around 60 or so iirc) then decide if you wanna go further.

The major problem with Bleach is that the current arc has been going for about 3 years, which spans not even 24 hours of real time. Besides this, they still have managed to cram in about 3 anime exclusive filler arcs that have no real place in the timeline.

me it's a good anime but the manga is much better due to they toss fillers into the anime right before the big fights

Watch it but skip anything not related towards the "Main" story. You'll know when that happens (I hope...).

I'd say no, it's popular but it's not special. Also the 3rd filler arc was actually pretty good (the muramasa one), for a filler arc, though it should've ended about halfway through. Again I wouldn't recommend bleach to anyone just watch Yu Yu Hakusho instead.

i like bleach i'd recommend it but it's just personal opinion at the end of the day.
i think if you like dbz or naruto you'll probably like bleach

I do recommend watching Bleach, at times it gets boring, but I have seen over 230 episodes minus some of the filler, and its really worth it because Bleach can be really epic, its just long, thats all

I've been watcing the new epiodes on AS, and I got to wonder how many episodes did I miss, last I remeber there the characters where in the hollow world with ichigo fighting Grimjaw. suddenly there all back in the human world. (Dishnetwork normal DVRs really suck)

From what i hear of the anime, since i only read the manga, you've not missed a thing if you saw him defeat Grimjow. I highly recommend bleach just more specifically the manga. Its less confusing because they don't just throw in fillers ever.

i TOTALLY recommend you watch it, although i dont recommend you watch the fillers, except for maybe the bount arc, if you dont watch the bount arc, the only thing youll not understand is the existence of three little mod souls (youll know what those are by then) and they dont effect the story much at all, if you want, ill give you a list of episodes that you should watch :)

Look the way it goes is you try it for a while, i mean it's not good to force something upon yourself that you dislike but I'm just saying that some anime you can just go from look alone. I myself have overlooked many a anime that didn't look interesting whatsoever but i ended up falling for in the end. I've immersed myself into this particular anime due to the fact that it clicked in my interests so why not? give it a shot!

Bleach fills me with rage, the way in which they drag out the plot annoys me but other than that and of course the filler pretty good series

bleach IS really long and drawn out, but if you remove all the fillers than its not all that long just try it if you dont like it than dont force it (although it does get much better as it progresses IMO

bleach isn't all that long it's about the same as dbz or naruto.
and if you take out the filler arcs that cuts it down.
but apart from it's nice it's a nice anime the mangas cool also.

p.s one piece now that is long what is it now somwhere between 550 and 600 eps still going

Lots of famous animes are long (excluding Haruhi & Lucky Star). Hell, I put Bleach on hold for a while in the middle of the SS arc (I think it was episode 52). I suppose it's okay to watch.

not because it says ichigo retarded or because it's ichigos bankai's retarded it's the fact that it's says his bankai is retarded when in the video it's the unreleased form of zangetsu
it's the origional form 2 releases away form his bankai.
