Pretty much that. They're fabric mats that you use to protect your cards from table crud when playing. They usually have an image on them to make them look nice too. This is the one I'm getting :P

Its what ever gets the job done, Most shows have little or whole of new an old production techniques its not exactly a full blown transition. Yes its a keyframe but FMP utilized both digital and traditional as for GTO the OP's and ED's were digital but the anime was cel. As for the quality of that cel versus final production for FMP I can assume it wasn't shot with a 16mm cam but rather scanned for a capture method.

FYI as for keyframes theres no need to produce a painted cel for a keyframe thats to be produced digitally its usually just a sketch...

Hopefully later, I'm going to buy vicodin at the pharmacy, Because I'm having a permanent crown placed on one tooth + a filling at 4PM today, and i have TMJ and it hurts pretty damn bad after holding my mouth open for long periods at a time, I'll be PISSED if they don't give me something to manage pain for a day or two. But yeah D< I'll see to it vicodin will be my latest purchase. (Reading this back to me and i sound like a junkie lol I'm not D<)
