Yea, I read about that eailer today. Reminds of that one time it was announced, then it never came and was pretty much forgotten, but then the studio said they where still working on it and it was hyped a little, but then it was forgotten again, and then the studio that taken several years to make one FPS went bankrupt, and it was forgotten about....

Lets not forget when the media dumped the testosterone filled poorly plotted movies for more sympathetic characters and a sometimes a decent plot causing Duke Nukem to loose all relevance aside from the nostalgic factor that would only appeal to those who yet to release most of what they found funny as kids actually had very little comedic value or kids


Well at least it has a confirmed (sorta) release date, once it's out the game can truly die

Honestly you're fooling yourself if you think this is going to be anything more than a subpar shooter, you're familiar with the term, 'jumping the shark' right, well this game did it at some point in its 12 year development (I really hate it when series that should've died don't (I'm looking at you hedgehog)). I think the best part about this is even if it's the best game ever made for all eternity it still won't live up to the hype

it's really not though, there are a bunch of myths about pc gaming and honestly one of them is the expense and frequency of upgrades. It's just not true, even with something that was top of the line a few years ago the most you'll probably need is a RAM upgrade. The other problem is Microsoft has been screwing over PC ever since the xbox was made. They've been buying out small third party developers to only develop for their consoles and they occasionally toss a very poor port towards us PC users. Luckily larger developers and indie developers don't give a toss about Microsoft (and why should they? Microsoft does kinda suck) and have been making great games that I doubt and Microsoft's studios could actually pull off. Of course their last PR statement on the subject of games they were working one mentioned only 360 titles and when questioned about the PC they gave a vague general and somewhat derogatory statement about it clearly they have no interest in PC's which is a shame because they're mission out on not only an extremely large market but also resources, Modding communities are strong and a great place to find potential employees and great ideas. Bethesda and Valve know this, it's not that hard of a concept to grasp.
